1. Do Anti-Caking Agents cause Colon Cancer?

Should Salt & Sugar contain "Powdered Glass?"

    Anti-caking agents are additives used for preventing the formation of lumps in ground or powdered food products to keep them in a dry free-flowing state. Such food products include table salt, sugar, flours, coffee, onion powder, garlic powder, fruit powder, soup powder, whiteners and baking powder. Table salt, onion powder, garlic powder, fruit powder and soup powder can contain up to 2% of their quantity as anti-caking agents. Some of the anti-caking agents that are used are silica or silicon dioxide (sand) and silicates of calcium, magnesium and aluminium. Calcium silicate can form up to 5% of baking powder!

    Anti-caking agents like silica and silicates can be very dangerous, but they are being widely used in processed foods in many countries. Silica and silicates are substances which are insoluble in water and can consist of tiny particles like irregularly shaped dots, discs and plates with points and edges.

    Silica and silicates are hard like glass, and their points and edges too can be almost as sharp as glass. In fact glass is manufactured from sand and silicates. Besides being the main constituent of glass, silica, silicon dioxide or sand is also used in many abrasive materials like sandpapers and grinders. We know that the sandpapers are used for scraping the surfaces of furniture and even hard concrete walls before they are painted. The wheels and rollers of grinders are used for sharpening various tools made of metals.

    Can we allow even small pieces of sandpaper to get into our gastro-intestinal tracts? Are we guinea pigs or laboratory rats that we should be fed "powdered glass" in our foods and be tortured constantly? Why should we tolerate anything comparable to powdered glass to enter our bodies even in the smallest quantities?

    It is not difficult to visualize what such abrasive substances can do to the mucous membranes of the stomach and the intestines of the persons who ingest them. As most of the anti-caking agents used in the substandard salts are insoluble in water and cannot be digested, their sharp-edged particles can do immense harm to those who ingest them regularly along with their foods over a period of time. Many cuts and abrasions in the stomach and intestines can be caused by the sharp points and edges of insoluble anti-caking agents, as I have myself personally found out.

Millions suffer Pain due to Anti-Caking Agents

    The inhalation of sand or quartz dust which contains particles of silica can cause diseases of the lungs like silicosis and silico-tuberculosis in the affected persons. So it is very logical to assume that sharp-edged sand particles that get stuck in the gastro-intestinal tract must also be causing damage to the stomach and intestines of millions of people. 

    Millions of persons must be suffering pain because of the use of table salt, sugar, spices, flour and other processed food products containing substandard anti-caking agents. Food products containing sharp "glassy" powdered sand can cause cuts and abrasions in many places in the gastro-intestinal tracts of the millions of consumers of such products. The sharp particles of powdered sand that get lodged in the mucous membranes of the intestines can produce constant pain. What will happen if more and more sharp particles get stuck to the mucous membranes and go on accumulating in the intestines of people over a period of months and years? The affected persons can get appendicitis, ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome, perforations, intestinal bleeding and, finally, even cancer and AIDS. It is also easy to deduce that any weakened, damaged and irritable gastro-intestinal tract can also be prone to piles.

Worldwide Investigation Needed

    Do many people get colon cancer due to the regular consumption of sharp particles of powdered sand and silicates used as anti-caking agents in table salt, sugar, spices, onion powder, garlic powder, other soup powders, fruit powders, coffee, whiteners, flours, baking powder and various other processed food products? It seems so. Baking powder, which can be 5% calcium silicate, is used extensively for making cakes, pastries and numerous other baked and cooked foods! I believe that one of the main causes of colon cancer must be the consumption of table salt and other processed food products containing anti-caking agents like silica and silicates for a number of years. Just as some persons have thin and delicate skins, they can also have thin and delicate mucous membranes in their gastro-intestinal tracts, which can very easily get lacerated and damaged by abrasive substances. Anti-caking agents containing sharp particles can easily cause ulcers and perforations in their thin mucous membranes.

    Are many unnecessary surgeries performed on the colons of millions of people all over the world because of the damage caused by particles of sharp edged anti-caking agents and other additives used in processed foods? Wrong diagnosis about the cause of colon cancer can be a very common occurrence. A massive investigation is required all over the world on this issue. 

Millions of Indians Suffer due to Substandard Salt

    Besides the use of harmful anti-caking agents, salt can also get contaminated in India with the harmful grinding- stone powder. Substandard grinding stones are used in salt mills for grinding salt cheaply in our country. The grinding-stone powder can be chemically toxic as well as mechanically harmful. The regular consumption of salt contaminated with the grinding-stone powder can cause pain and bleeding in the stomach and intestines just like it is caused by the harmful anti-caking agents. Similar problems can occur due to the consumption of substandard flours, powdered sugar, spices and other powdered food items containing the harmful grinding-stone powder and anti-caking agents.

    Why should these primitive methods of powdering salt, sugar, grains, spices and other food items be still allowed in India? No action is taken by the Indian bureaucrats who are interested only in getting bribes and not in enforcing quality control even in the most important field of food products. The corrupt politicians and bureaucrats are mainly responsible for the painful existence and sudden deaths of millions in India. And yet our leaders expect our constantly tortured youths to win medals in the Olympics even though they are living under such horrible conditions! Almost all our refined food products are highly contaminated and adulterated. We get toxic spices and gut-cutting salt that cause excruciating pain and many different epidemics of gastro-intestinal diseases like appendicitis, ulcers and perforations, irritable bowel syndrome, intestinal bleeding and colon cancer just because of our treacherous politicians and bureaucrats. The corrupt Indian politicians and bureaucrats are enjoying life by taking fat bribes for allowing the constant torture and painful injuries to millions of Indians instead of doing their duty by enforcing Quality Control in the food sector. 

    In how many other countries is there no effective Quality Control in the manufacture of food products?

Burnt Specks & Scales on Foods are Harmful

    Baked bread, tandoor rotis, grilled foods and fried items having hard black burnt specks with sharp points, or scales with sharp edges like blades, are also harmful like the foods containing powdered sand and silicates as anti-caking agents. The hard black burnt specks with sharp points, and the scales with sharp edges, can produce abrasions and cuts in the guts just like powdered sand and silicates. The consumption of burnt foods, especially the burnt portions, must be very strictly avoided to prevent harm to the mucous membranes of the gastro-intestinal tract. 

Anti-caking Agents can cause Backaches

    Backaches are one of the most common ailments of modern man. As chronic abdominal pain can travel to the back, many backaches may actually be due to the pain in the gastro-intestinal tract, which includes the colon. Later, the abdominal pain can spread even to the legs and to the rest of the body. 

    When the pain spreads to other parts of the body, it can mimic the symptoms of many diseases involving organs like the kidneys, bladder, spine, legs, liver, heart, lungs, nerves, etc. When the pain in the gastro-intestinal tract manifests itself on both sides of the body, it can easily be mistaken for pain in the kidneys. So the late diagnosis of the cause of the pain can become faulty and give indications of kidney and bladder problems, arthritis, spondylosis, liver disease, etc, instead of just the diseases of the gastro-intestinal tract. 

Loss of Immunity can Cause many Diseases

    The whole body of a person can get traumatized by the continuous irritation and chronic pain in the abdomen and back. Once physical pain becomes constant in any person, he also suffers from mental stress. The constant pain produces stress hormones and other toxic compounds that can spread to the whole body. Due to the chronic pain and stress, his body can continuously release the toxic biochemicals. After that, it can become almost impossible to find out what was the original cause of the pain and the stress. The constant pain and mental stress cause insomnia which can further weaken the immune system in the body. The immune system of a person can become so compromised that he can get the symptoms of a number of diseases.

    Which diseases and infections are not possible in a person with hundreds or thousands of abrasions and small cuts in the gastro-intestinal tract? One of the causes of AIDS must be the use of abrasive anti-caking agents in salt, sugar, baking powder and many other items of food that are consumed daily.

    The ulcerated, perforated and bleeding gastro-intestinal tract can become a permanent home for harmful bacteria and other micro-organisms, which produce foul gases, bad breath and other symptoms associated with putrefaction. The constant bleeding and putrefying micro-organisms can cause diarrhea and prevent the synthesis as well as the absorption of vitamin K in the gastro-intestinal tract. In such conditions, a vicious cycle develops in which the constant bleeding and diarrhea cause vitamin K deficiency, and vitamin K deficiency causes bleeding and persistent diarrhea.     The severe abdominal pain and backache can make any sufferer impotent. 

    Massive damage to the mucous membranes in the gastro-intestinal tract can also adversely affect the mucous membranes of many other organs in the body because they have some common traits. All the mucous membranes can become so highly sensitive to the many different biochemical factors in foods and drinks, atmospheric allergens and micro-organisms that the affected persons can very easily suffer from coughs, colds, asthma, other respiratory diseases, heart disease, kidney disease, etc. Any such persons can age prematurely and die early.

    We must also consider the fact that even the excessive absorption of silicon from the gastro-intestinal tract over a long period can biochemically produce the symptoms of many diseases in different parts of the body.

Unsafe Anti-Caking Agents must be Banned

    Surgical operations are not the real solution for the injuries and cancers of the gastro-intestinal tract, including the colon, suffered by millions of people due to the use of powdered sand and silicates as anti-caking agents, and due to the ingestion of sharp specks and scales of burnt parts of foods. Substandard salt and other food products containing sharp-edged powdered sand and silicates should not be sold anywhere in the world. The baked, grilled and fried foods having burnt specks with sharp points, and burnt scales with sharp edges, should not be consumed.

    All the anti-caking agents must be scientifically classified as safe or unsafe without any delay. The use of all the unsafe and dangerous abrasive materials, like powdered sand and silicates, as anti-caking agents in processed food products must be completely banned. The ban must come into force immediately in all the countries of the world. The governments that do not impose such a ban promptly, and do not enforce it strictly, deserve to be overthrown by the people. We are not guinea pigs or laboratory rats that we should be fed "powdered glass" in our foods and be tortured constantly. Why should we tolerate anything that is comparable to powdered glass to enter our bodies even in small quantities?

Measures to Avoid Harm to Gastro-Intestinal Tract

    To save myself from any harm from the abrasive anti-caking agents, I prepare a solution of table salt and water in a large cup or tumbler and decant it. I use only the top portion of the salt solution and throw away the lower portion which sometimes contains insoluble sharp-edged sediments or dregs. Decanting the salt solution is much better and safer than  straining all the salt solution through a thick or a double layer of cloth. It may not be possible to hold back all the fine insoluble particles in the strainer or cloth. Of course, for additional safety, one can decant as well as strain the upper portion of the salt solution by passing it through a thick or a double layer of cloth. 

    Persons who are susceptible to, or are affected by, the pain and irritation in the gastro-intestinal tract should avoid eating hard dry foods like toasted bread, almonds, cashew nuts, pistachio nuts, walnuts, betel nut (areca nut), peanuts, roasted gram, roasted corncob (maize) and even popcorn. They should also avoid raw fibrous foods in salads like carrot, radish, turnip,  coconut, and seedy vegetables and fruits like tomato, guava, grapes, pomegranate, etc. As the gastro-intestinal tracts of the affected persons are irritable and susceptible to pain, they should also avoid hot and pungent foods containing chillies, peppers, other spices, raw onion, garlic, etc. 

    Animals and birds can easily digest even hard dry uncooked seeds and nuts without getting any pain because their diets do not contain any processed foods with sharp particles of anti-caking agents which can cause hundreds or thousands of abrasions and small cuts in their gastro-intestinal tracts. 

    Processed food products which are crisp like biscuits should also be avoided by the affected persons, as such items  seem to contain excessive amounts of some harmful types of anti-caking agents.

Mucus Protects the Gastro-Intestinal Tract

    Mucus provides a lot of protection to the mucous membranes of the gastro-intestinal tract from abrasive substances. Lack of mucus can, therefore, result in damage to the mucous membranes from the effects of abrasive anti-caking agents like powdered sand and silicates and also from the sharp-pointed specks and sharp-edged scales. Mucus can also provide some protection from the effects of many harmful chemicals.

    The mucus-generating factors like vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin K, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, niacin, folic acid, protein and fat, taken in larger amounts, can help in repairing the damage to the mucous membranes of the  gastro-intestinal tract. Small doses of vitamin K should be taken only under medical supervision. Protein foods should be consumed separately, and not along with vitamin A. As they are constipating factors, the higher dosages of these nutrients must be given with great caution to any patient with a damaged colon and small intestine. Care should also be taken that the greater dosages of these nutrients do not cause severe constipation in the patient who undergoes this treatment. I cannot mention the dosages of these nutrients in this short article, as the treatment for ulcerated or perforated colon and small intestine is a serious problem that requires the attention of a qualified and experienced therapist.

    All the nutrients mentioned above are not going to be so helpful to the affected patient if he also suffers from the effects of consuming foods and drinks contaminated and adulterated with harmful chemicals like the residues of petroleum products and certain laxative pesticides. The residues of petroleum products, along with the sharp particles of anti-caking agents, can cause extensive damage to the gastro-intestinal tract, including the colon, and also cause great harm to the other organs of the body. That can be an extremely terrible situation for any sufferer.

    The consumption of flour and flour products contaminated with the particles of grease must be avoided. The grease used for the lubrication of grinding mills can get mixed with the flour in minute quantities. The ingestion of grease can be extremely harmful, as it is toxic for any person with a damaged gastro-intestinal tract. Toxic synthetic milk, containing liquid detergent, urea and other harmful chemicals is used for adulterating milk in India. Synthetic milk can cause irritable bowel syndrome in the unwary consumers, and it can also prevent any treatment from successfully curing a gastro-intestinal tract that is damaged by abrasive anti-caking agents.

Use Perfumed Soap with Milk Cream for Beautiful Skin

And You can even Think of Suicide!

    Can the use of soap with milk cream lead to suicide? Can you believe that using perfumed soaps containing milk cream can even cause suicides? Most people, including many scientists and psychologists, would laugh boisterously at me if they hear that bathing with soap containing milk cream and perfume can lead anyone to suicide. It may seem a big yarn coming from me and many people are likely to make fun of me. But using perfumed soap with milk cream can actually lead some desperate persons to suicide! I am not bluffing and I still warn you not to use soap containing milk cream and some perfumes for bathing. 

    Milk cream on your skin attracts mites to your body, and your skin can get chewed mercilessly all over the body by the mites. If you use any soap with milk cream to bathe daily, you can get itching all the time to make you keep scratching your body. There will be continuous itching all over your body, including the face and scalp, during the day and night. You may become sleepless and terribly depressed and frustrated with life due to the persistent itching, and you may even develop suicidal tendencies. Becoming sleepless and depressed due to the skin itching all over the body all the time during the day and night, one can really become desperate enough to commit suicide. Also, how terribly embarrassing it can be for anyone to be scratching all over his or her body in front of other people?

Should one Die an Early Fragrant Death?

    Should one be ready to die an early fragrant death just for chasing the mirage of getting a beautiful skin by using beauty soaps with milk cream? Only those men and women, who stay in highly sterilized mite-free homes, offices, cars, etc, like some rich people and celebrities, may be able to use perfumed soap with milk cream without getting constantly bitten by mites.

    You can stop yourself from committing suicide by avoiding the use of soap which contains milk cream and some perfumes that attract mites. 


Insulin can control symptoms of AIDS!

    I am sure that the administration of insulin can control some of the symptoms of one type of AIDS. I wonder why a hormone like insulin is not used to treat this type of AIDS instead of giving the highly toxic anti-retroviral drugs to the patients! Being an anabolic hormone which promotes growth, insulin should be especially useful in treating the AIDS associated with insulin-deficiency diabetes (IDD), diarrhea and rapid loss of weight in the patients.


Why do Non-Veg Foods cause Pimples & Boils?

    The excessive consumption of iodine is known to cause some types of boils and rashes on the skin. It can be quite shocking for the readers to know that the effect of the excessive consumption of vitamin B12 found in non-vegetarian foods is much worse. Specifically, the excess of cobalt, which is a constituent of vitamin B12, is one of the most important causes of pimples, acne, boils and other skin eruptions. Even the vegetarian foods that contain large amounts of cobalt can cause pimples and other skin eruptions.

    The consumption of foods, drinks, and preparations containing cobalt and vitamin B12 must be restricted by all patients who have pimples, acne, boils, measles, chicken pox or rashes of any type that produce pus. Besides the non-vegetarian foods like meat, fish and eggs, even the consumption of vitamin B12-containing milk and milk products should be avoided for some time by the persons suffering from such skin eruptions.

    According to my research, the excessive consumption of cobalt-rich foods, drinks and dietary supplements can cause pimples, acne, boils and rashes in susceptible persons of any age group. Vitamin E is an antagonist of vitamin B12 and can help in reducing pimples, acne, boils and rashes caused by the consumption of excess cobalt. It is very likely that the mineral selenium, which produces a sparing effect on the need for vitamin E, may also help in controlling these skin eruptions.

    Persons susceptible to pimples and boils should not have dental fillings, caps or bridges containing cobalt. Their teeth should be free of cobalt, otherwise such persons can continuously suffer from rashes of pimples, acne, boils and other skin eruptions leading to horrible scars on their faces and other parts of their bodies. 

    Lack of sex and retention of semen for long periods in their bodies by young men can also cause or increase pimples and boils in many of them.


Aphrodisiacs

    Foods containing vitamin B12 and the mineral cobalt act like natural aphrodisiacs. Vitamin B12 and vitamin E can together form a good combination to cure impotence and sterility in many patients. Iodine-rich foods like fish and seaweeds, as also iodized salt, have aphrodisiacal properties.

    Garlic and onion are considered as aphrodisiacs and are, therefore, avoided by the celibate priests of some communities in India. Spices such as cloves, ginger and garam masala (mixture of certain spices) work like aphrodisiacs because they can cause insomnia which may produce an excessive desire for sex in many persons. The excessive consumption of such spices can even cause sex mania and lead to sex crimes by some of the affected persons. The excessive use of spices and drugs for aphrodisiacal purposes should not be considered good for health.

Note: In men, over-indulgence in sex and excessive loss of semen can cause severe constipation and related problems.


Additives in Oils can Make you Impotent!

    Some new brands of cooking oils introduced in the last few years by multi-national companies (MNCs) in India and other poor developing countries, cause severe constipation, heart disease, strokes, and even impotence. I have a very strong suspicion that the MNCs are deliberately lacing cooking oils and other goods of mass consumption in India with dangerous chemicals to cause impotence in millions of unsuspecting Indian people. People who become impotent by consuming such oils manufactured in collaboration with foreign companies may thus be compelled to take treatment with costly sex stimulants sold by the multinational drug companies. There seems to be a big conspiracy by MNCs to make millions of people impotent so that the MNCs can sell their high-priced sex stimulants to more and more people.

These cooking oils cause premature deaths of the poor and lower middle class people. Unlike others, I am not surprised at the sudden deaths of some healthy persons in Pune, India. The use of artificial sex stimulants is also known to shorten life.

*Regular consumption of betel nut (areca nut) can cause heart attacks and strokes in many susceptible persons. 

*Cola drinks and soda water can trigger asthma in susceptible persons.

*Garlic and onion, particularly raw onion, can cause heartburn (burning sensation in the chest region) due to the formation of excess acid in the stomach.

*One cause of sleeplessness in many persons can be the drinking of a lot of water at night. If you suffer from insomnia, avoid drinking too much water at night. Drinking more water at night can cause frequent urination and disruption of sleep in the insomniacs.


Excess Fluoride causes Impotence & Early Death

    The compounds of fluoride are used for the fluoridation of water in western countries. Fluoride salts like calcium fluoride (CaF2), sodium fluoride (NaF) and potassium fluoride (KF) are used in toothpastes and mouth washes. 

    The regular ingestion of excessive amounts of fluoride through drinking water, toothpastes, mouthwashes and foods cooked in teflon-coated utensils, causes severe constipation, hypothyroidism, frequent infections like coughs and colds. heart disease, arthritis and spondylosis with stiff and painful bone joints, impotence and sterility, premature ageing and early death in the affected persons.

    Fluoride and other such toxic chemicals should never be added to drinking water. There seems to be a massive conspiracy hatched by the drug makers among MNCs to promote the use of fluoridated drinking water, fluoride toothpastes and mouthwashes, which cause impotence in millions of people, and then to make the impotent people to buy costly pills containing sex stimulants worth billions of dollars every year!

Indians Avoid Foreign Toothpastes with Fluoride

Eating Yeast Bread can make You Alcoholic! 

    Can the consumption of yeast-containing products make you crave for alcohol? Yes, it is possible that the regular consumption of yeast and yeast products increases the urge for alcohol, as alcohol is also a yeast product. Eating baked bread containing yeast is itself a little addictive, as the yeast produces an urge for such bread. The consumers of baked bread containing yeast are therefore more prone to become alcohol and drug addicts. Eating yeast-containing baked bread can produce alcoholism and later even addiction to narcotic drugs in susceptible persons because of the addictive and harmful effects of yeast.

    There are harmful varieties of yeasts as they can easily get contaminated and become toxic. Baked bread increases the tendency for alcoholism and drug addiction also because of the many debilitating effects that yeast can  produce in the body. Baked bread is known to cause belching in many people because yeast produces fermentation. The use of harmful yeasts in common consumer products like bread can even cause epidemics. Harmful cheap yeasts can produce lack of physical and mental stamina leading to laziness and lethargy in many of the regular consumers of yeast products. The regular consumption of baked bread containing any harmful or contaminated variety of yeast can produce stiffness and weariness in various muscles and cause aches and pains all over the body along with insomnia. Muscle pains can even adversely affect the heart muscles and cause heart disease in many persons. Chronic insomnia is known to increase the possibility of many afflicted persons turn to alcohol and drugs.

    One of the most important reasons for the rapid spread of alcoholism in the world is the greater consumption of yeast-containing foods and medicines which are wrongly described as health foods and dietary supplements. Stop the consumption of foods and tablets containing yeast and you may be able to give up the addiction to alcohol.

    When I eat baked bread regularly, I feel a strong urge for alcohol. In fact, I was addicted to alcohol, even though it was not much, because I used to take about one peg of alcohol daily at night. I never really liked to have any such habit, but I could not give up drinking in spite of trying hard. Only when I stopped eating baked bread for health reasons, was I able to give up alcohol in just 3 days! I was astounded because the urge for alcohol just ended abruptly. But whenever I eat baked yeast bread for a number of days, I again feel the urge to drink alcohol. However, I don't resume the habit of drinking alcohol, as I simply stop eating bread completely for a long period.


Baking Soda causes Pain in Bones

    The excessive ingestion of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate, NaHCO3) produces pain in the bones and joints. Eating large quantities of cakes, pastries and other baked and cooked products containing sodium bicarbonate, disturbs the mineral balance in the bones. Aches and pains in the bones and joints can also be caused by the excessive ingestion of sodium carbonate (Na2CO3), potassium bicarbonate (KHCO3), potassium carbonate (K2CO3) and carbonic acid (H2CO3) through the consumption of various processed foods and carbonated drinks. The entry of excessive quantities of the carbonate and bicarbonate radicals in the body can drastically alter the chemical composition of the bones.

    It is wrong to give gripe water regularly to infants who get pain in the stomach and bowels. The main constituent of gripe water is sodium bicarbonate which can adversely affect the development of bones of infants who get it routinely.


 Aluminium is Bad for Sore Throat & Cough

    The excessive use of alum to purify water causes a sore throat and cough in susceptible persons who drink such water. As it produces an astringent effect, the excessive ingestion of aluminium can irritate and harm the mucous membranes of the mouth, food pipe, stomach and intestines. Aluminium can also get into the foods and drinks that are cooked and stored in aluminium utensils. 

    The consumption of tea, which is the richest food source of aluminium, can be extremely harmful for a person who suffers from a sore throat and the cough that develops from the sore throat. Tea may help a person who suffers from a cold, but it makes a sore throat worse due to the irritating effect of the aluminium in it. The tannic acid in tea can also irritate the mucous membranes of the gastrointestinal tract. So the persons suffering from sore throat should avoid drinking tea for some time if they want to get well soon. During a persistent cough even the consumption of foods and drinks cooked and stored in aluminium utensils is harmful for the sufferers. To cure sore throat and cough, all the steps should be taken to reduce the ingestion of aluminium from all sources.


Vitamin B6 cures Dandruff  

    I have found that a deficiency of vitamin B6 is one specific cause of dandruff and related skin problems. Vitamin A, vitamin E, riboflavin, niacin, folic acid and unsaturated fats help in reducing dandruff, but vitamin B6 is somewhat more important. Increasing the intake of vitamin B6 in the form of pills helps in controlling and reversing the problem of dandruff.

    I suspect that one cause of dandruff is the damage to the skin caused by the ingestion of residues of petroleum products through foods and drinks. The use of paraffin as a laxative can also be a cause of dandruff. Petrolatum or paraffin should not be used to clarify sugar. Paraffin wax should not be used to coat fruits and vegetables. Petrolatum liquid and paraffin wax should not be used in ointments, creams and other cosmetics. It is better to use glycerin or some suitable edible oils, instead of petrolatum liquid and paraffin wax, in ointments, creams and other cosmetics.

    There should be a complete ban on the use of hexane petrol in the extraction of edible oil from oilseeds. Paraffin should also not be used in any form in or on food products.


Remove Ear Wax to Hear Ghost Noises!

    Don't clean your ears by removing all the wax daily or regularly with cotton buds. By cleaning the ears completely, you can get chronic tinnitus. You will hear ringing, hissing, clicking, humming, throbbing, thumping or other ghost noises in the ears, if you remove all the ear wax. 

    If you have to remove the impacted hard wax, you can use a few drops of a suitable sterile edible oil like olive oil. The oil will soften the ear wax within some time and the excess of ear wax will then flow out. A sterile cotton plug can be put on the outer end of the ear canal to absorb the softened ear wax as it flows out. Sterile cotton can be used to clean the outer ear. If the cotton bud is used to clean the ear, it should be dipped in sterile oil first and then inserted slowly and gently in the ear canal. This will prevent the drying of the ear canal, which becomes prone to itching and irritation if it gets dry due to the complete removal or absence of the ear wax.

    Ear wax is an essential lubricant for the moving parts of the ear and forms a protective coating of semisolid antiseptic fluid to repel and kill insects. It acts as an natural antiseptic against many microorganisms and as a disinfectant against many bacteria.

Preformed vitamin A forms an incompatible combination with an iron salt. A patient, suffering from heart disease, who takes a pill containing a large amount of vitamin A immediately before or after eating a meal rich in protein and fat, can collapse in a few minutes and die soon of a heart attack. The high doses of vitamin A and an iron salt taken with protein, fat and acids form an instant killer. The addition of vitamin K, folic acid, copper, fluoride, nitrate and other constipating factors makes this killer combination even more extremely toxic. Even the strongest persons in the world cannot easily survive after taking these various combinations of instant killers. Such extremely dangerous combinations of nutrients must be declared as "POISONS" and banned all over the world. 

    Many allopathic drugs can form dangerous combinations with some dietary factors like vitamin A, vitamin K, folic acid, copper, iron, protein, etc. According to my research of more than 35 years, preformed vitamin A has a strong biochemical affinity for nitrogen-containing compounds. A large dose of preformed vitamin A can form dangerous allergic combinations with a number of drugs containing nitrogen. It is dangerous to take preformed vitamin A along with nitrogen-containing drugs like antibiotics (penicillin, ampicillin, streptomycin, chloramphenicol, tetracycline / terramycin), sulpha drugs (sulfanilamide, sulfadiazine, sulfapyridine, sulfamerazine, sulfasoxazide, gantricin), procaine, sleeping pills like barbiturates, sedatives and tranquillizers like Diazepam, Valium and Calmpose, nitroglycerin (vasodilator), artificial sweeteners like saccharin and aspartame, food additives like monosodium glutamate (MSG), etc.

3. Diarrhea, Low BP & Diabetes (IDD)

    There are two main types of diabetes mellitus which are known as Insulin-Dependent Diabetes (IDD) and Non-Insulin-Dependent Diabetes (NIDD). One can understand that low blood sugar (glucose) is the opposite of high blood sugar as in diabetes. But how should one understand that one type of diabetes has many symptoms that are the opposite of the symptoms found in the other type of diabetes, even though both types of diabetes raise the blood-sugar levels? In diabetes, the fasting blood-sugar level rises above the normal limit of 120 mg per 100 ml of blood. The normal fasting blood-sugar range is about 80 to 120 mg per 100 ml of blood. Why should the two types of diabetes raise the blood sugar and yet have many other symptoms that are of the opposite types? This paradox about the two types of diabetes is one of the most difficult problems to understand in the sphere of Nutrition and Health. 

    I had to find out a way to understand the paradox about the two forms of diabetes, which is the reason I could cure myself of diabetes about 22 years back. I had to solve the riddle of diabetes for my own personal benefit. Both of my parents had diabetes, and they came from families prone to diabetes. While many of my diabetic relatives took drugs to control their blood-sugar levels, I have never taken any drug to keep my blood-sugar level normal. The fact that seems most surprising to others is that I have also been consuming sweet foods and drinks for all these years, except for a period of a few months! In those few months, I used artificial sweeteners like saccharin and aspartame, which I had to give up because I got pain in the muscles and bones. In spite of what I state, other people are not ready to believe the fact that I cured myself of active diabetes, and I have kept my blood sugar under control for many years, just by balancing the different dietary factors. In fact, I have not taken any allopathic or non-allopathic drugs in the last 35 years to treat myself for any disease. The artificial sweeteners, which I could use only for a few months, were meant to replace sugar in my foods and drinks and not for curing diabetes. I have preferred to use only the suitable combinations of vitamins, essential minerals and other nutrients to treat myself for any disease in all these years.

    According to my research, the basic cause of IDD is persistent or recurrent diarrhea in the affected persons. The basic cause of NIDD is chronic or recurrent constipation in the affected persons. So, for understanding the nature of the two types of diabetes, it is necessary to know what are the causes of persistent diarrhea and chronic constipation. 

    Broadly speaking, to be free from both the types of diabetes, the general rule for any person is to avoid both diarrhea and constipation. This is my basic theory on controlling diabetes. To be more scientific, one must avoid both diarrhea and constipation by adjusting the intakes of only the essential dietary factors as far as possible. It is not really easy to succeed in this, as corrections are required in the intakes of many essential dietary factors.

Causes of Diarrhea

    Diarrhea is caused by various combinations of the following factors:
    1. Excessive amounts of the laxative nutrients such as vitamin C, vitamin D, thiamine (vitamin B
1), pantothenate, magnesium, manganese, sodium, potassium, iodine, chromium, phosphates and some other compounds of phosphorus, (zinc), etc.
    2. Deficiencies of the constipating nutrients.
    3. Laxative medicines and drugs.
    4. Laxative additives, adulterants and contaminants in foods and drinks.
    5. Residues of laxative pesticides and petroleum products in foods and drinks.
    6. Lack of exercise and excessive rest.
    7. Overeating which results in the excess of energy available to the body.
    8. Prolonged retention of semen (in men) due to lack of sex.
    9. Hyperthyroidism.
  10. Polycythemia (high RBC count).

    Abstinence from sex makes diarrhea much worse in young men. During the period of lactation women, who do not breast-feed their infants, may suffer from diarrhea due to the retention of milk in their mammary glands.

    The symptoms associated with persistent or recurrent diarrhea are damage to the gastro-intestinal tract, dehydration, fever, low blood pressure, heart disease associated with low blood pressure, rapid loss of weight and chronic fatigue. The other symptoms in this condition can include insulin-deficiency diabetes (IDD), acidosis, gout, low levels of fat and cholesterol in the body, ulcers, ulcerous cancers, etc.

Cures for Diarrhea & Related Diseases

    Persons suffering from diarrhea, low blood pressure, insulin-deficiency diabetes and other associated problems should take greater amounts of the constipating dietary factors such as:

        Vitamin A
        Vitamin E
        Vitamin K
        Riboflavin (vitamin B
2)
        Pyridoxine (vitamin B
6)
        Niacin
        Tryptophan (an amino acid)
        Folic acid
        Protein
        Fat
        Some organic acids like citric acid
(but not vitamin C )
        Calcium
        Fluoride
        Chloride
        (Bromide)
        Nitrates and some other compounds of nitrogen
        Copper (as antagonist of zinc)
        Etc
.

    Generally speaking, I consider protein and fat to be constipating factors. 

    Note of Caution: High doses of the nutrients should not be given once the symptoms of diarrhea are controlled. Moving too fast in the opposite direction can bring new symptoms of the opposite condition that can frighten the patients. Nutrition therapists must have the knowledge about such critical stages. Lower doses of nutrients should be given once the change from the diarrheal stage to the constipating tendency is noticed. The treatment should be changed or even stopped once the original symptoms disappear.  

    The salts of micronutrients like fluoride, copper, vitamin K and folic acid should be taken only on the advice of an expert nutritionist. Even small overdoses of such micronutrients taken regularly can be toxic.

    Patients suffering from diarrhea, and the other associated symptoms, should reduce the intakes of laxative dietary factors such as vitamin C, vitamin D, thiamine (vitamin B1), pantothenate, magnesium, manganese, sodium, potassium, iodine, chromium, phosphates and other compounds of phosphorus, zinc, etc. They should avoid laxative medicines and drugs as well as foods containing laxative additives, laxative contaminants, and residues of laxative pesticides and petroleum products.

Foods Should be Boiled & Water Thrown Away

    For persons suffering from persistent diarrhea, the vegetables, fruits and other items used in their diets should be thoroughly washed, as that can help in removing the pesticides sprayed on them in the fields and storehouses. Also, such patients should eat only those vegetables, pulses, meat, chicken, etc, that are cooked after they are first boiled in water for some time and the water is thrown away. For example, potatoes, spinach, cauliflower, cabbage, carrots, radishes, beetroots, peas, beans, gram, lentil, moong, meat, chicken, rice, etc, can be boiled for some time first, and the water thrown away, before they are cooked further. Boiling them in water, and discarding that water, reduces the quantities of the laxative factors like potassium, magnesium, phosphate, manganese, chromium, zinc, vitamin C, vitamin B1 (thiamine), etc, in such foods. Tomato and sour lemon juice can also be added to the boiled and cooked vegetables, pulses, meat, chicken, etc, to make them more effective in curing diarrhea. This procedure should be followed as long as it is necessary to control diarrhea.

    I am definitely not joking when I state that the nutrient-rich water used for boiling the foods of patients having diarrhea should be thrown away. This is not exactly an ideal solution, but the first requirement is to save a patient's life in such a bad situation. Only when the causes of diarrhea are identified, and steps are taken to remove such causes, can this procedure be stopped. For example, one such cause of persistent diarrhea can be the consumption of cooking oil contaminated with residues of petroleum products. Finding out the actual cause of diarrhea and stopping the consumption of the contaminated oil, and then correcting and balancing the diet to make it normal, can take some time.

    There is no need to be dogmatic on this issue of conserving nutrients. Persons suffering from diarrhea must avoid even the relative excesses of laxative nutrients in their diet. We must not overlook the importance of the relative excesses and relative deficiencies of nutrients in the bodies of patients with the different types of health problems. All the therapies should be based on logical thinking rather than on the dogmatic and wrong belief that we require more and more quantities of all the essential nutrients. A particular patient's needs at a particular time should determine how much of the different nutrients he should be given.

    Nutrition Therapy must be made a dynamic form of medical treatment. The dietary treatment should be changed according to the actual needs of an individual patient at a particular time. No treatment should be continued when it is no longer required by any particular patient.

    The patients with diarrhea should not consume fiber-rich carbohydrate foods like unrefined cereals, vegetables and fruits. They should preferably eat white polished rice and refined white-flour foods instead of whole wheat flour foods. The refined foods, which are poor in the laxative vitamins and minerals, should be given to such patients till they get cured of diarrhea.

    Indigestible dietary fiber or roughage, consisting of cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin, pectin, is present in large amounts in the whole-grain flour products, bran-enriched foods, peas, beans and pulses, leafy and root vegetables, and fruits, especially with their skins. Dietary fiber is considered biochemically inert in the gastro-intestinal tracts of humans. Biochemically, pure dietary fiber should be considered neither a laxative nor a constipating factor in its action. But the dietary fiber can be packed with many laxative and some constipating factors as in the brans of wheat, rice and other grains, leaves of vegetables and skins of fruits. Dietary fiber can also absorb a lot of water in the gastro-intestinal tract, and thus can help in producing peristalsis in the intestines. So dietary fiber can be considered as a factor that may physically help in the production of peristalsis in the gastro-intestinal tract.

More Measures to Control Diarrhea

    The following salts are laxative and so the processed foods, drinks and medical preparations containing them should be avoided by persons with diarrhea:

    Sodium sulfate = Na2SO4 (purgative).

    Potassium sulfate = K2SO4 (purgative).

    Magnesium sulfate = MgSO4.

    Magnesium hydroxide (milk of magnesia) = Mg(OH)2.

    Sodium phosphate = Na3PO4.

    Potassium phosphate = K3PO4.

    Magnesium phosphate = Mg3(PO4)2.

    Laxative salts of micronutrients:

    Potassium iodide = KI.

    Sodium Iodide = NaI.

    Zinc sulfate = ZnSO4.

    Other salts of zinc.

    Manganese sulfate = MnSO4.

    Other salts of manganese.

    Chromium trichloride = CrCl3.

    Other salts of chromium.

    In the condition of diarrhea, patients should avoid cola drinks containing phosphoric acid, vitamin D-fortified milk and iodized salt. Chemical compounds like potassium iodide and sodium iodide are used for the iodization of table salt. The excess of iodine can cause diarrhea due to an excessive formation of thyroxin in the bodies of persons consuming such salt. Instead of consuming milk for getting calcium, patients should take tablets containing calcium carbonate, as that salt can help in controlling diarrhea. They should also avoid eating highly spiced foods, onion, especially raw onion, and garlic. 

    Persons suffering from diarrhea and related problems should avoid overeating, because overeating produces a laxative tendency. They should take exercise regularly as exercise helps in checking diarrhea. Exposure of the skin to sunshine should be reduced to prevent the formation of too much vitamin D in the body. Even the heat of sunshine should be considered as a laxative factor because it provides energy. 

    Men should not let semen accumulate in their bodies for a long time, as that can produce a laxative effect. Blood-letting helps in curing diarrhea in persons having polycythemia or high red-blood cell count.

    During the period of lactation, women should not avoid breast-feeding their infants, as the retention of milk in the mammary glands may cause diarrhea in them.

How is Insulin-Deficiency Diabetes Caused?

    Instead of insulin-dependent diabetes, this type of diabetes should be called insulin-deficiency diabetes.

    The excessive intakes of the dietary laxative factors can cause insulin-deficiency diabetes in susceptible persons. The regular consumption of foods that are deficient in the constipating factors can also cause diarrhea and insulin-deficiency diabetes. The other factors that can increase the blood sugar and cause insulin-deficiency diabetes are the laxative drugs and medicines, laxative adulterants, residues of laxative pesticides, residues of petroleum products and other laxative contaminants in foods and drinks. 

    Why do the excessive intakes of laxative factors cause insulin-deficiency diabetes? In the condition of diarrhea, there is a faster and greater break up of the organic biochemicals like protein, fat, carbohydrate, vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin K, riboflavin (vitamin B2), pyridoxine (vitamin B6), niacin, folic acid, etc, including hormones like insulin, in the body.

    In this type of diabetes, there is a massive formation of glucose due to the massive splitting of protein, fat and glycogen (carbohydrate) in the body. In severe cases of IDD, there is even a wasting of tissues of the muscles and other organs due to the rapid destruction of protein and fat. 

    In the body, most of the glucose is normally produced from the carbohydrate of the foods consumed. In the liver, glucose is also produced from fat and amino acids. Glycogen is produced from glucose in the liver and in the muscle cells. Insulin is the anabolic hormone which helps in converting glucose to glycogen. One main function of insulin is to prevent the accumulation of too much glucose in the body. Insulin thus helps in making the utilization and oxidation of glucose gradual and continuous.

    During persistent diarrhea, which causes a deficiency of insulin, not much glycogen can be formed or stored in the body. In IDD, the rise in the blood-glucose level is due to the excessive formation of glucose especially from the rapid break up of protein and fat. In the diabetic state, to prevent itself from further harm, the body tries to get rid of the excessive amount of glucose by excreting it through the kidneys as a constituent of urine. To facilitate this process, urine becomes copious and urination becomes frequent. 

    Why do such diabetics require insulin injections regularly or even every day? Obviously, it is because the insulin is used up faster because the laxative biochemical factors in the body rapidly destroy insulin just like they destroy the other organic compounds such as protein, fat, vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin K, riboflavin (vitamin B2), pyridoxine (vitamin B6), niacin, folic acid, etc.  When there is a massive splitting up of protein, fat and other organic compounds, not much new insulin can be formed in the body. Even the limited amounts of insulin in the body are destroyed fast.

    Insulin-deficiency diabetes is caused by the rapid destruction of insulin and by the non-formation or inadequate formation of new insulin.

    How does the administration of insulin help the diabetics? The administration of insulin slows down the break up of protein, fat and carbohydrate (glycogen) by making them more stable, and this reduces the formation of glucose which also brings down the blood glucose levels. In this way, insulin helps to control diabetes.

    According to my research, insulin should be a constipating factor. I am sure that the administration of insulin can even control some of the symptoms of one type of AIDS. I wonder why an anabolic hormone like insulin is not used to treat this type of AIDS instead of giving the highly toxic anti-retroviral drugs to the patients!

    As a nutritionist, I do not favor the adoption of hormone therapies for long periods, but I am not against the use of hormones in treating serious cases which involve life-threatening emergencies or other critical situations. As far as possible, hormones should not be used for long-term therapies, as their prolonged use can produce serious side-effects in the patients. The hormone therapies also cannot treat the basic causes of diseases.

Cure for Insulin-Deficiency Diabetes

    In the insulin-deficiency diabetes, there are real or relative deficiencies of the constipating factors in the body. If you have insulin-deficiency diabetes, you should consume foods that are rich in the constipating nutrients like preformed vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin K, riboflavin (vitamin B2), pyridoxine (vitamin B6), niacin, tryptophan (an amino acid), folic acid, protein, fat, organic acids like citric acid, calcium, fluoride, chloride, nitrates and some other compounds of nitrogen, copper (antagonist of zinc), etc. The consumption of foods containing animal protein, animal fat and eggs is beneficial in this condition. The constipating nutrients help in a similar way as insulin does. They can make even insulin more stable.

    If you have insulin-deficiency diabetes, you should reduce the intakes of the laxative factors. Food supplements and medical preparations containing laxative factors can be harmful for persons with IDD. You should try to avoid the consumption of foods that are very rich in the laxative nutrients such as vitamin C, vitamin D, thiamine (vitamin B1), pantothenate, magnesium, manganese, sodium, potassium, iodine, chromium, phosphates and other compounds of phosphorus, zinc, etc. Patients with IDD should particularly avoid cola drinks containing phosphoric acid, vitamin D-fortified milk, iodized salt, and vitamin C enriched beverages. We must realize that even the water-soluble vitamin C supplements can do a lot of harm if they are taken regularly in this condition.

    The administration of thyroxin can trigger an attack of insulin-deficiency diabetes in the patients who are prone to it, but I know that many allopathic doctors actually prescribe thyroxin to patients who suffer from diarrhea and have insulin-deficiency diabetes! The administration of thyroxin must be avoided in such cases, as it makes both the diarrhea and insulin-deficiency diabetes worse, and can even kill the patients. Iodized salt should also be avoided by such patients, as the excess of iodine causes hyperthyroidism which is associated with diarrhea and insulin-deficiency diabetes. Vitamin D is a laxative factor, and so exposure of the skin to sunshine should be reduced or avoided by persons with insulin-deficiency diabetes.

    You should find out a way to avoid the excessive ingestion of zinc that results from the drinking of water supplied through zinc-coated galvanized pipes, tanks and other vessels. The excessive amounts of zinc can very easily enter foods, drinks and medicines. Persons with insulin-deficiency diabetes should not have dental fillings, caps or bridges containing zinc. Their teeth should be free of zinc. The ingestion of large amounts of zinc is known to cause a severe deficiency or relative deficiency of copper in the human body. Copper can help in reducing the effectiveness of zinc. So drinking some quantity of water stored in a copper vessel is beneficial.

    The chromium-plated utensils should not be used for cooking or storing foods, drinks and water. The best option for persons with insulin-deficiency diabetes is to use heat-resistant glass or enamel-coated utensils of the best quality. If stainless steel utensils cannot be avoided, only the best quality stainless steel utensils should be used.

    In insulin-deficiency diabetes, it will be a terrible mistake for the patients to take chromium supplements, as the extra chromium can do terrible harm to them. The patients with insulin-deficiency diabetes should not have any dental fillings, caps or bridges containing chromium. Their teeth should be free of chromium. 

    Blood-letting can help in curing diabetes in persons having polycythemia and diarrhea.

    The excessive intake of food increases the availability of energy nutrients in the body, which can result in the production of more glucose. Overeating produces a laxative effect. The reduction in food intake is beneficial in such cases. Lack of exercise is a laxative factor. Therefore, taking more of active physical exercise is beneficial in insulin-deficiency diabetes.

    Lack of sex for long periods is laxative for men. Sexual gratification, with loss of semen, is a constipating factor for men. Sexual gratification reduces the laxative effect of the large amount of semen produced in the bodies of young men. Sexual activity helps men in controlling diarrhea and in reducing the effects of insulin-deficiency diabetes. 

    During the period of lactation, women should not avoid breast-feeding their infants, as the retention of milk in the mammary glands may cause diarrhea in them. Breast-feeding should help in reducing both the diarrhea and the effects of insulin-deficiency diabetes in lactating women. 

    Diabetics should not add artificial sweeteners to their beverages as such additives are known to cause many harmful side-effects and even cancer in the long run. If the diabetics must consume tea and coffee with some suitable taste, they can add a little salt instead of sugar to the two beverages. Black tea or black coffee can be lightly brewed along with a little salt. A small quantity of sour lemon juice can be added to the salted black tea or coffee by any diabetic persons who prefer to have their beverages with a better taste. 

Ingestion of Petroleum Residues & Diabetes

    The ingestion of residues of petroleum products through foods and drinks can cause insulin-deficiency diabetes. The residues of petroleum products like hexane and paraffin, in contaminated and adulterated foods and drinks, cause loose motions due to the losses of large quantities of fat-soluble vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin K and other nutrients. There is also a massive destruction of many organic biochemicals, including hormones like insulin, in the body.

    The ingestion of residues of petroleum products drastically reduces the formation of insulin and also causes the destruction of insulin in the body. The ingestion of residues of petroleum products must be stopped to be able to cure insulin-deficiency diabetes.

    In some countries, like India, castor oil is used on oilseeds and foodgrains to protect them from insects. As an allopathic medicine, castor oil is used regularly as a purgative by many people all over the world. Purgatives like castor oil must be strictly avoided by persons with insulin-deficiency diabetes, as they cause losses of large quantities of fat-soluble vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin K and other nutrients.


    Note on Classification of Nutrients: The general purpose classification of nutrients into the laxative factors and the constipating factors is very helpful in  understanding the biochemical properties and effects of the commonly consumed foods. For the sake of easy reference, I have classified protein and fat as constipating factors, but let me state that all the types of protein and fat do not have constipating properties. Strictly speaking, each and every type of protein, amino acid, fat, fatty acid, any other organic or inorganic acid, carbohydrate, sugar, dietary mineral, and derivative of any vitamin must be precisely and correctly classified as a laxative factor or a constipating factor by nutritionists. We must also classify all the nutrients in categories other than those of laxative and constipating factors. There can no running away from the reality of such a massive task. 

    No individual scientist or single group of nutritionists can do the massive work of listing all the nutrients in different categories. So we require millions of nutritionists for this new research, and the world is going to get them especially from among the educated housewives who cook food for their families. The nutritionists shall soon form the largest individual group of scientists in the world, and nothing is going to prevent that from happening.   


4. Constipation, High BP & Diabetes (NIDD)

    Constipation is caused by various combinations of the following factors :
    1. Excessive amounts of the constipating nutrients such as vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin K, riboflavin (vitamin B
2), pyridoxine (vitamin B6), niacin, tryptophan (an amino acid), folic acid, protein, fat, some organic acids (like citric acid, but not vitamin C), calcium, fluoride, chloride, (bromide), nitrates and some other compounds of nitrogen, copper, etc.
    2. Deficiencies of the laxative nutrients.
    3. Constipating medicines and drugs.
    4. Constipating additives, adulterants and contaminants in foods and drinks.
    5. Residues of constipating pesticides in foods and drinks.
    6. Too much exercise.
    7. Fasting or semi-starvation diets which result in a deficit of energy in the body.
    8. Over-indulgence in sex and excessive loss of semen (in men).
    9. Hypothyroidism.
  10. Anemia (low RBC count).

    Over-indulgence in sex makes the constipation much worse in men. During the period of lactation, women who excessively breast-feed their hungry older infants, or have to breast-feed twins, may suffer from constipation.

    The symptoms associated with chronic constipation are edema, high blood pressure, heart disease, chronic fatigue, tumors and cancer. The other symptoms in this condition can include non-insulin-deficiency diabetes (NIDD), high levels of fat and cholesterol in the body, leukemia, etc.

Cures for Constipation & Related Diseases

    Persons suffering from constipation, high blood pressure, non-insulin-deficiency diabetes and other associated problems should take greater amounts of the laxative dietary factors such as:

        Vitamin C
        Vitamin D
        Thiamine (vitamin B
1)
        Pantothenate
        Magnesium
        Manganese
        Sodium
        Potassium
        Iodine
        Chromium
        Phosphates and some other compounds of phosphorus
        Zinc  (as antagonist of copper)
        Etc.

    Note of Caution: High doses of the nutrients should not be given once the symptoms of constipation are controlled. Moving too fast in the opposite direction can bring new symptoms of the opposite condition that can frighten the patients. Nutrition therapists must have the knowledge about such critical stages. Lower doses of nutrients should be given once the change from the constipating stage to the diarrheal tendency is noticed. The treatment should be changed or even stopped once the original symptoms disappear.  

    The salts of micronutrients like manganese, iodine, chromium and zinc should be taken only on the advice of an expert nutritionist. Even small overdoses of such micronutrients taken regularly can be toxic.

    Patients suffering from constipation and associated symptoms, should reduce the intakes of constipating dietary factors such as vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin K, riboflavin (vitamin B2), pyridoxine (vitamin B6), niacin, tryptophan (an amino acid), folic acid, protein, fat, some organic acids like citric acid, calcium, fluoride, chloride, (bromide), nitrates and some other compounds of nitrogen, copper, etc. They should avoid constipating medicines and drugs, as well as foods containing constipating additives, constipating contaminants and residues of constipating pesticides. 

Fiber, Water & Laxative Nutrients

      Indigestible dietary fiber or roughage, consisting of cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin, pectin, is present in large amounts in whole-grain flour products, bran-enriched foods, peas, beans and pulses, leafy and root vegetables, fruits and their skins. Dietary fiber can absorb a lot of water and can help in producing peristalsis in the intestines. So dietary fiber can be considered as a factor that may physically help in the production of peristalsis. 

    Constipated persons should consume adequate amounts of water and fiber-rich carbohydrate foods like unrefined cereals, vegetables and fruits. They should avoid eating white polished rice, refined white bread and other white flour foods because refined cereal foods are poor in the laxative vitamins and minerals. The refined cereal foods should not be given to such patients till they get cured of constipation. Whole-wheat flour foods should preferably be eaten by them every day as such foods contain many laxative factors. Besides consuming other vegetables and fruits, the constipated persons should also eat foods containing herbs like onion, garlic and leeks.

    Persons suffering from chronic constipation should be made to consume the vegetables, pulses, etc, along with the water used for boiling them. The water should not be thrown away as it can be used for preparing soups and curries. For example, they should consume the water used for boiling potatoes, spinach, cauliflower, cabbage, carrots, radishes, beetroots, peas, beans, gram, lentil, moong, brown unpolished rice, etc. The water used for boiling such foods contains the laxative factors like potassium, magnesium, phosphate, manganese, chromium, zinc, vitamin C, vitamin B1 (thiamine), etc. This procedure should be followed as long as it is necessary to control constipation.

More Measures to Control Constipation

    The following salts are constipating and so the processed foods, drinks and medical preparations containing them should be avoided by persons with constipation:

    Calcium carbonate = CaCO3.

    Calcium bicarbonate = Ca(HCO3)2.

    Calcium chloride = CaCl2. 

    Calcium sulfate = CaSO4. 

    Sodium nitrate (Chile saltpeter) = NaNO3.

    Potassium nitrate (saltpeter) = KNO3.    

    Citric acid.

    Ammonium chloride = NH4Cl.     

    Salts of constipating micronutrients:

    Copper sulfate = CuSO4.

    Other compounds of copper.

    Calcium fluoride = CaF2.

    Sodium fluoride = NaF.

    Potassium fluoride = KF.

    Calcium bicarbonate, calcium chloride and calcium sulfate are found in hard water. The hard water containing  any of these calcium salts can cause constipation, and related problems, and should be avoided by the constipated persons. Chile saltpeter and saltpeter are used as food additives to cure meats, which should be avoided by persons with constipation. As copper is a constipating factor, the constipated persons should not consume water stored in a copper vessel. Constipated persons should not have dental fillings, caps or bridges containing copper. Their teeth should be free of copper. 

    Fluoride salts are used in toothpastes, mouth washes and for fluoridation of water. Toothpastes and mouth washes containing fluoride and fluoridated water can cause very severe constipation in the user. The excessive ingestion of fluoride prevents the adequate formation and the efficient functioning of thyroxin in the body of a person using them. The toothpastes and mouth washes containing fluoride and fluoridated water should be avoided to help the formation of adequate thyroxin in the body. An adequate formation of thyroxin helps in preventing constipation. Persons who suffer from constipation should eat foods prepared with iodized salt. 

    Constipated patients should consume vitamin D-fortified milk. Exposure of the skin to sunshine helps in the formation of vitamin D in the body, which reduces constipation as vitamin D is a laxative factor. Constipated persons can use foods and beverages that contain dilute phosphoric acid as an additive. Calcium supplements, which do not contain the phosphate radical, like calcium carbonate, tend to increase constipation in the constipated persons. Such persons should, therefore, avoid calcium carbonate and preferably take dicalcium phosphate. Dilute phosphoric acid is much more effective than dicalcium phosphate in combating constipation, as it provides the laxative phosphate radical without the constipating calcium.

    Persons suffering from constipation and related problems should avoid fasting and semi-starvation diets as such practices make constipation more severe. As exercise makes constipation worse, the constipated persons should avoid too much exercise and must take adequate rest.

    Men should avoid excessive indulgence in sex and conserve their semen. Men who have too much sex and lose a lot of semen can become very constipated. During the period of lactation, women should not breast-feed their infants excessively, as that may cause constipation in them.

    A low hemoglobin level tends to cause constipation. A severely anemic person who gets a blood transfusion can even get cured of chronic constipation.  

    To tackle chronic constipation in their patients, nutrition therapists can prescribe proper doses of one or more of the laxative salts like sodium sulfate, potassium sulfate, magnesium sulfate, magnesium hydroxide, sodium phosphate, potassium phosphate and magnesium phosphate. They can also prescribe with caution minute quantities of one or more salts of laxative micronutrients like potassium iodide, sodium iodide, manganese sulfate, zinc sulfate and chromium trichloride.

    The intake of a proper combination of laxative salts can even produce a bowel motion in a constipated person within 30 minutes! However, the overdoses of laxative salts must be strictly avoided.

High BP & Heart Disease

    All the constipating factors are synergists in raising the blood pressure. The greater intakes of the constipating factors cause the retention of greater amounts of sodium chloride (salt) and water in the body, which results in the elevation of the blood pressure.

    The dietary factors that can increase the blood pressure are the greater intakes of vitamin A (especially preformed vitamin A as in pills), vitamin E, vitamin K, riboflavin (vitamin B2), pyridoxine (vitamin B6), niacin, folic acid, protein, fat, fluoride, chloride, (bromide), nitrate, copper, calcium, etc. Foods that are deficient in laxative factors also tend to cause constipation and raise the blood pressure. For example, the refined foods like white bread, other white flour products, sugar products, and white polished rice tend to cause constipation and high blood pressure in those who consume them regularly.

    The consumption of foods rich in the constipating factors should be reduced to bring down the blood pressure and to decrease the chances of heart attacks and strokes. Such foods include meats, eggs, nuts, fats (especially saturated animal fats), coffee and acidic items like sour lemon juice which contains citric acid. Some spices like cumin seeds (jeera), fennel seeds (saunf), mustard seeds, mustard powder, cinnamon (daalchini) and fenugreek (methi) are known to cause constipation and should be avoided. Meats cured with salts containing nitrate, like Chile saltpeter and saltpeter, should be totally avoided. 

    The regular consumption of some constipating item like betel nut (areca nut) is very dangerous for persons who are prone to heart attacks and strokes. Betel nut can cause heart attacks and strokes in susceptible persons.

    All persons who are prone to heart attacks and strokes should avoid certain killer combinations of nutrients. A patient, suffering from heart disease, who takes a pill containing a large amount of vitamin A immediately before or after eating a meal rich in protein and fat, can collapse in a few minutes and die soon of a heart attack. Preformed vitamin A, as available in pills, forms an incompatible combination with an iron salt. The  high  doses of  vitamin A and an iron salt taken with protein, fat and acids form an instant killer. The addition of vitamin K, folic acid, copper, fluoride, nitrate and other constipating factors makes this killer combination even more extremely toxic. Even the strongest persons in the world cannot easily survive after taking these various combinations of instant killers.

    The other factors that can increase the blood pressure are the constipating drugs and medicines, and constipating adulterants, residues of constipating pesticides and other constipating contaminants in foods and drinks.

    The foods and drinks which are rich in the laxative factors help in lowering the blood pressure and in preventing heart disease associated with constipation and high blood pressure. Persons having constipation and high blood pressure should increase the intakes of laxative dietary factors such as vitamin C, vitamin D, thiamine (vitamin B1), pantothenate, magnesium, manganese, potassium, iodine, chromium, phosphate, zinc, etc. Persons suffering from constipation and high blood pressure should eat foods prepared with iodized salt. 

    Calcium supplements, which do not contain the phosphate radical, like calcium carbonate, tend to increase constipation, high blood pressure and heart disease in the persons who take such calcium supplements. Persons with constipation, high blood pressure and heart disease should prefer dicalcium phosphate and avoid calcium carbonate. They should not drink hard water which contains calcium chloride and calcium sulfate. 

    Toothpastes and mouth washes containing fluoride and fluoridated water can cause very severe constipation, high blood pressure and heart disease, and therefore should be avoided. Foods cooked in non-stick teflon-coated utensils  should be avoided as they get contaminated with fluoride. Heat-resistant glass and good quality enamel-coated utensils are best for cooking foods. As copper is a constipating factor, the constipated persons should not consume foods and drinks stored or prepared in copper vessels. Persons prone to constipation should not have dental fillings, caps or bridges containing copper. Their teeth should be free of copper. 

    Prolonged and strenuous exercise should be avoided as it is bad for persons with heart disease as it can cause constipation. Excessive indulgence in sex, leading to excessive loss of semen, should be avoided by men as it can give them constipation which can lead to high blood pressure and heart disease. The loss of blood due to injuries and blood donations can also cause constipation and increase the blood pressure. Loss of blood due to heavy menstruation can give constipation and high blood pressure to  women.

How is Non-Insulin-Deficiency Diabetes Caused?

    Instead of non-insulin-dependent diabetes, this type of diabetes should be called non-insulin-deficiency diabetes.

    The excessive intakes of the dietary constipating factors can cause non-insulin-deficiency diabetes in susceptible persons. The regular consumption of foods that are deficient in the laxative factors can also cause constipation and non-insulin-deficiency diabetes. For example, the refined foods like white bread, other white flour products, sugar products, and white polished rice tend to cause non-insulin-deficiency diabetes in those who consume such foods regularly. The other factors that can increase the blood sugar and cause non-insulin-deficiency diabetes are the constipating drugs and medicines, constipating adulterants, residues of constipating pesticides and other constipating contaminants in foods and drinks.

    Why do the excessive intakes of the dietary constipating factors cause non-insulin-deficiency diabetes? In the condition of constipation, there is greater stability of the organic biochemicals like protein, fat, carbohydrate, vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin K, riboflavin (vitamin B2), pyridoxine (vitamin B6), niacin, folic acid, etc, including the hormones like insulin, hormones like insulin, in the body.

    Due to chronic constipation, protein, fat, carbohydrate and other biochemicals become very stable and cannot be broken up at a normal rate. There is a much slower break up and utilization of protein, fat and glycogen (human  carbohydrate) so they tend to accumulate in the body. When they get saturated in the body, even the glucose level gradually begins to rise in the blood leading to diabetes.

    In this type of diabetes, there is more than enough insulin in the bodies of patients, as insulin becomes more stable than it is in normal individuals. The insulin is too stable to be utilized properly, and this insulin prevents conversion of an adequate amount of glycogen into glucose to provide enough energy. The person affected by diabetes associated with chronic constipation tends to gain weight as the stored energy reserves in the form of glycogen cannot be broken up and utilized at the normal rate. When glycogen becomes saturated in the cells of the muscles of the body, the glucose level starts rising in the blood, as not much glucose can be sent to the cells of the body to be converted into glycogen. The glucose also becomes too stable to be broken up efficiently to produce energy. When more and more glucose accumulates in the blood, diabetes makes its presence. The body then tries to get rid of the excess of glucose through the urine, which can increase the frequency of urination and the volume of urine.

    Insulin should not be administered in the non-insulin-deficiency diabetes, because the extra insulin can cause an excessive accumulation of glycogen in the cells of the body leading to many related problems like the formation of more cholesterol, heart disease and cancer. The administration of insulin can even make this type of diabetes worse.

Cure for Non-Insulin-Deficiency Diabetes

    In non-insulin-deficiency diabetes, there are real or relative deficiencies of the laxative factors in the body. The consumption of foods and drinks which are rich in the laxative factors help in lowering the blood sugar in persons who have non-insulin-deficiency diabetes. Persons having constipation and non-insulin-deficiency diabetes should increase the consumption of foods and drinks that are rich in the laxative nutrients like vitamin B(thiamine), pantothenate, vitamin C, vitamin D, phosphate (phosphoric acid in dilute form), manganese, magnesium, zinc, potassium, iodine, chromium, etc. 

    If you have non-insulin-deficiency diabetes, you should reduce the intakes of the constipating factors. Food supplements and medical preparations containing the constipating factors can be harmful for persons with NIDD. You should try to avoid the consumption of foods that are very rich in the constipating nutrients like vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin K, riboflavin (vitamin B2), pyridoxine (vitamin B6), niacin, tryptophan (an amino acid), folic acid, protein, fat, organic acids like citric acid, calcium, fluoride, chloride, nitrates, copper (antagonist of zinc), etc. 

    The patients should consume more quantities of the unrefined foods, that are rich in laxative factors, like whole-wheat flour products and brown unpolished rice, vegetables and fruits like papaya, brinjal (eggplant), guar (cluster beans), cauliflower, cabbage, etc. They should consume moderate quantities of protein-rich beans, moong and other pulses and legumes. They should consume vegetable soups which are rich in the laxative nutrients and can be beneficial for them. They should greatly reduce the consumption of foods that contain animal protein, animal fat, eggs, butter, cheese, etc. Meats cured with salts containing nitrate, like Chile saltpeter and saltpeter, should be totally avoided. They should consume some quantity of foods containing carotene instead of preformed vitamin A.

    If you have constipation and non-insulin-deficiency diabetes, drinking wheat water can provide you with extra quantities of many laxative nutrients. For getting wheat water, unwashed wheat should be boiled in water. Half a cup of wheat can be boiled in one and a half cups of water for 2 minutes. The brew should be left standing for not more than about 5 minutes. It should be  strained within a short time, otherwise wheat will begin to absorb most of the water. Drink the wheat water hot or cold, once or twice in a day, according to your need. Don't consume the boiled wheat, but throw it away as it no longer contains most of its original vitamins and minerals.

    Persons with constipation and non-insulin-deficiency diabetes should consume milk and milk products fortified with vitamin D. They should also expose their skins to sunshine for some time daily because that can make their skins synthesize vitamin D. They should use iodized salt in place of ordinary salt. If the constipation persists, the diabetics can also use milk of magnesia, magnesium sulfate and some other laxative salts of essential minerals.

    The intake of calcium supplements, which do not contain the phosphate radical, like calcium carbonate, tend to increase constipation and high blood sugar in the persons who have non-insulin-deficiency diabetes. Persons with constipation and high blood sugar should preferably take dicalcium phosphate and avoid calcium carbonate. They should not drink hard water which contains calcium chloride and calcium sulfate. Taking beverages containing dilute phosphoric acid helps in undoing the constipating effect and related problems caused by excess calcium in the body.

    In diabetes associated with hypothyroidism, thyroxin may be given to the patients for some time. As a nutritionist, I do not favor the use of hormones for any long-term treatment, as hormone therapies can produce many side effects. It is better to make the patients consume iodized salt regularly as a long-term measure to treat hypothyroidism. This measure should also help to control the symptoms of non-insulin-deficiency diabetes.

    Toothpastes and mouth washes containing fluoride and fluoridated water can cause very severe constipation, high blood sugar and non-insulin-dependent diabetes. Therefore, fluoride-rich products should be avoided by the diabetics. Foods cooked in non-stick teflon-coated utensils  should also be avoided as they get contaminated with fluoride. Heat-resistant glass and good quality enamel-coated utensils are the best for cooking foods. As copper is a constipating factor, the constipated persons should not consume foods and drinks stored or prepared in copper vessels. Persons prone to constipation, high blood sugar and non-insulin-deficiency diabetes, should not have dental fillings, caps or bridges containing copper. Their teeth should be free of copper.

Excessive loss of blood due to heavy menstruation can cause constipation and increase the blood sugar in women with non-insulin-deficiency diabetes. 

    During the period of lactation, women, who excessively breast-feed their extremely hungry older infants, may suffer from constipation. They should avoid excessive breast-feeding of their infants, as the excessive loss of milk from their mammary glands makes the effects of their non-insulin-deficiency diabetes worse.

    With the guidance of an expert nutritionist, constipated persons with non-insulin-deficiency diabetes should take some suitable tonics or food supplements which contain laxative nutrients like vitamin B1, pantothenate, vitamin C, vitamin D, phosphate (as in dilute phosphoric acid), manganese, magnesium, zinc, potassium, iodine, chromium, etc.

5. Why does Exercise cause Constipation?

    In spite of my article, Exercise Causes Constipation, being in circulation for the past 10 years, many "health experts" still continue to propagate the absolutely false belief that exercise can prevent and cure constipation.     It is absolutely crazy to believe that active physical exercises can produce a laxative effect and cure or prevent constipation. Millions of people are being wrongly made to believe that the performance of physical exercises can produce more energy by some magic. They overlook the fact that the body requires and uses more energy during the performance of physical exercises, which causes a deficit of energy reserves in the body. The body cannot get more energy from a dwindling supply. How can there be more energy available when the supply goes on becoming less? Can any car travel longer distances with less petrol? Can any power plant supply more electricity when it can only use less fuel?

    Prolonged exercise causes exhaustion and a deficit in the energy reserves in the whole body. So, how can it be possible for exercise to produce a laxative effect? After any prolonged exercise, can the body that has a severe deficiency of energy reserves, including chemical energy, provide more energy to the intestines to make them work faster? Can the body that feels very exhausted and lazy make the intestines work with greater efficiency? Can the intestines get more energy when the whole body becomes deficient in energy? Can that be possible? We just cannot get that impossible result. According to the universal Law of Conservation of Mass and Energy, more energy cannot be made available from less reserves of energy. This law is universally valid even when there is a conversion of matter and energy from one form to another.

The Effects of Exercise

    How is energy provided in the body for doing any physical work like exercise? When a person performs an exercise, his muscles use more glucose to produce the additional energy that is required for moving the parts of the body performing the exercise. Extra heat is produced along with a lot of carbonic acid. The quantity of carbonic acid that is produced depends on the type and duration of exercise. Strenuous and prolonged exercises produce more carbonic acid. In the lungs, some of the carbonic acid is broken down to carbon dioxide and water to be exchanged with oxygen of the inspired air. All the carbonic acid produced during any strenuous or prolonged exercise cannot be broken down to release carbon dioxide and water immediately. This is only a simple explanation.

    Exercise causes a reduction in the energy reserves of the body. During the performance of any physical exercise, the greater use of energy depletes the energy reserves in the body. There is an oxidation of larger quantities of glucose to produce the greater amounts of energy needed for performing the exercise. There has also to be a greater break up of carbohydrate, such as glycogen, along with fat and protein, to compensate for the loss of glucose. The body must try to maintain the level of glucose in the blood and other tissues at normal levels.

    The break up of large quantities of glycogen, fat and protein causes a fall in the total reserves of energy in the body. So, the performance of any active physical exercise results in the reduction of energy reserves in the body.

    Note: Glucose is first broken down to pyruvate (pyruvic acid) and lactate (lactic acid). Then pyruvate is broken down to carbon dioxide and water with the release of energy.

Exercise Produces some Effects of Fasting

    Fasting causes constipation, and cures diarrhea, because fasting causes a deficit of the energy available in the whole body. Exercise too produces some of the effects of fasting because exercise causes a deficit in the energy reserves of the body. It is the consumption of more food and more water that can provide many laxative factors in larger quantities which reverse the constipating effect of exercise in the athletes and sportspersons.

    Of course, massive overeating or gorging provides excessive amounts of energy and many other laxative factors which will not only prevent constipation, but can also cause diarrhea even in athletes and sportspersons. Such a possible occurrence should not confuse us about the actual effect produced by exercise. All the other relevant factors must also be considered to understand the exact effect that is produced on the functioning of the bowels. The laxative effect of eating more food and drinking more water should not be credited to exercise.

Yoga & Bowel Motions

    The static postures of yoga are not active exercises and so do not cause constipation. But any yoga exercises that involve the movements of limbs and other parts of the body are active exercises, causing the expenditure of energy, which cannot prevent or cure constipation. The squatting posture is like a static yoga posture. The squatting posture is a little helpful in producing peristalsis, as the squatting posture makes the thighs exert pressure on the abdomen, especially in the obese persons with bulging bellies. The squatting position helps in producing a bowel motion because the energy provided by the pressure of thighs on the abdomen is created by the force of gravity of the Earth.

Exercise causes Deficiency of Oxygen

    It is wrongly believed that only the factors such as iron, red blood cells, blood and lungs play important roles in the respiratory processes of the human body. For many years I know that even the minerals in the bones play a major role in the respiratory processes involving the exchange of gases like oxygen and carbon dioxide. 

    The body consumes massive amounts of oxygen during vigorous or prolonged exercise. In spite of deeper and rapid breathing, the body becomes deficient in oxygen during a bout of strenuous exercise. After the stoppage of exercise, the body remains deficient in oxygen for a long time afterwards. It takes some time for the body to fully compensate for the loss of oxygen and to build up the oxygen reserves again. The body becomes exhausted due to the deficit of oxygen, but it gets exhausted much more due to the deficiencies of many biochemical factors that are caused by any strenuous exercise.  

    Exercise, laborious work and other physical activities can cause an increase in the compounds that contain carbon dioxide in the body. Actually most of the carbon dioxide is present as part of the carbonic acid and bicarbonates in the blood and other soft tissues. The blood plasma and other body fluids cannot really hold carbon dioxide in the form of gas. The presence of gas bubbles of carbon dioxide, or even of oxygen, in the blood plasma can cause death in a short time.

    During the performance of vigorous and prolonged physical exercise, deep and rapid breathing is not enough for the body to get rid of all the massive amount of carbonic acid that is formed rapidly. When a large amount of carbonic acid is produced, only some of it can be immediately broken down to carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O) in the lungs during and immediately after exercise. Most of the surplus carbonic acid must be converted into  sodium, potassium and calcium bicarbonates. The excess of carbonic acid must be balanced by the bicarbonates of sodium, potassium, calcium, etc. When the level of carbonic acid increases, the level of the bicarbonate radical also rises. The normal ratio of carbonic acid to bicarbonate is approximately 1 : 20.

Great Role of Calcium

    During and immediately after exercise, only some limited quantities of the bicarbonates can immediately be converted into carbonic acid which may be split up to release carbon dioxide and water vapor in the lungs. But, during and immediately after vigorous or prolonged exercise, the healthy body should normally be able to remove the excessive amounts of carbonic acid and bicarbonates formed in the blood and other tissues with the help of the calcium ions. According to my research, the body must resort to such an action to prevent the excessive accumulation of carbonic acid and bicarbonates in the blood and other soft tissues.

    When excessive amounts of carbonic acid and bicarbonates are formed rapidly, during and immediately after exercise, large quantities of the other bicarbonates are first converted to calcium bicarbonate. Then the calcium bicarbonate must be converted to calcium carbonate and stored in the bones. It is the work of calcium ions to grab the excessive amounts of the bicarbonate ions and to convert and store them in the bones as carbonate of calcium, and thus help to keep the various biochemical factors in some sort of equilibrium in the blood and other fluids of the body. An adequate quantity of calcium ions should, therefore, be available to convert the excessive amounts of carbonic acid and bicarbonates into calcium carbonate.

    Once the massive quantities of calcium carbonate (CaCO3) are formed due to exercise, and most of the calcium carbonate is  stored in the bones, it cannot easily be removed from there.

    The body cannot release the extra amounts of carbon dioxide stored in the form of calcium carbonate in the bones merely with the help of more oxygen available through deep breathing during exercise, and even by continuing the deep breathing after the exercise is over. In fact, during the performance of any vigorous or prolonged exercise, the body is compelled to remove the excessive amount of carbonic acid from the blood and other tissues by converting it into carbonate with the help of the calcium ions. Even after the performance of exercise is over, only some quantities of the accumulated bicarbonates can immediately be converted to carbonic acid which may be split up to release more carbon dioxide and water in the lungs.

Calcium Carbonate causes Constipation

    The excess of calcium carbonate in the body causes constipation. Prolonged exercise, which produces the excessive amounts of calcium carbonate in the body, therefore, tends to cause constipation. 

    To remove the extra calcium carbonate from the bones, and to release the stored carbon dioxide, is a very prolonged and complicated process. This process of conversion of carbonate to carbon dioxide takes place in stages. To explain it in a very simplified way, the body requires extra amounts of energy and many other laxative factors to do this work.

    Rest and sleep are laxative factors.  During the period of relaxation and rest, the least soluble calcium carbonate of the bones gets converted gradually into the more soluble calcium bicarbonate, which can enter the blood stream. The bicarbonate is then transferred from calcium to the sodium, potassium and hydrogen ions to produce carbonic acid. Finally, the carbonic acid gets split into carbon dioxide and water with the help of zinc enzymes, before the stored carbon dioxide can be released from the body through the lungs in exchange for oxygen. 

    The general outline of the formula for the conversion process is as follows:

        CaCO3 => Ca(HCO3)2 => NaHCO3 & KHCO3 => H2CO3 => H2O + CO2

Importance of Zinc Enzymes

    Zinc enzymes, like carbonic anhydrase, play a crucial role in breaking down carbonic acid into carbon dioxide and water. An adequate amount of zinc is required to help, directly and indirectly, in the processes that convert calcium carbonate into calcium bicarbonate, the transfer of bicarbonate to sodium and potassium, then the formation of carbonic acid and finally the release of carbon dioxide and water.

    Zinc enzymes like carbonic anhydrase also play an important role in preventing the excessive rise in body temperature during the performance of exercise. Carbonic anhydrase helps in breaking up carbonic acid to release water which helps in cooling the body through the process of perspiration. 

                  H2CO3 ==> H2O + CO2

    Zinc salts should not be consumed in excessive amounts as the excessive formation of zinc enzymes in the body causes a massive break up of carbonic acid and greatly reduces the quantities of bicarbonates in the blood and calcium carbonate in the bones and teeth. The excess of zinc causes aches and pains all over the body due to the decalcification and weakening of the bones and teeth, leading to arthritis, spondylosis and loss of teeth. Many persons can easily get excessive amounts of zinc from many different sources. The excessive ingestion of zinc can result from drinking the water supplied through zinc-coated pipes and stored in zinc-coated tanks and other vessels. Excessive amounts of zinc can very easily enter many processed foods, drinks and medicines. Persons with dental fillings, caps or bridges containing zinc can get extra quantities of the metal from their teeth. Those who have weak bones should not get dental fillings, caps or bridges containing zinc. Their teeth should be free of zinc. 

    It is wrong to believe that carbon dioxide is a poison. The excessive amounts of carbon dioxide are harmful, but any deficiencies of the biochemical compounds containing carbon dioxide, like carbonic acid, bicarbonates of sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, and calcium carbonate, etc, are also very harmful. These compounds containing carbon dioxide are absolutely essential for life. Too much of oxygen is also toxic for the body. A severe deficiency of carbonic acid in the blood causes depressed breathing and produces a suffocating type of asthma, which is like the so-called allergic asthma. There should be a proper balance in the body between the various biochemical compounds containing oxygen and carbon dioxide. 

Oxygen is a Laxative Factor

    The body loses massive amounts of its stored oxygen during the performance of vigorous and prolonged exercises. In spite of the deeper and rapid breathing, the body becomes deficient in oxygen during and after any bout of vigorous or prolonged exercise. The formation of excessive amounts of calcium carbonate in the body causes constipation. The larger quantities of calcium carbonate CaCO3 in the bones represent a deficit of oxygen in the body. After the stoppage of exercise, the body needs a lot of time to get rid of the excessive amounts of calcium carbonate for correcting the deficit of oxygen, for building up the oxygen reserves again, and for reversing the constipating tendency.

    So, the shortage of oxygen reserves in the body can be considered as a constipating factor. Breathing deeply to get more oxygen, without taking exercise at the same time, should therefore produce a laxative effect. Surplus oxygen obtained by the body without taking exercise is a laxative factor.

Exercise Strengthens the Bones

    It is true that exercise strengthens the bones. Exercise causes larger amounts of calcium to be deposited in the bones in the form of calcium carbonate (CaCO3). Later on, some of the carbonate can be replaced by the phosphate radical, provided by foods and drinks, to convert calcium carbonate into dicalcium phosphate (CaHPO4) and tricalcium phosphate {Ca3(PO4)2}.  The phosphate ions can make calcium carbonate give up some of its carbonate and help in gradually reversing the whole process triggered by the performance of exercise.  The consumption of dilute phosphoric acid (H3PO4) reduces the constipating effect of the excess of calcium carbonate in the bones. But dilute phosphoric acid, as found in the cola drinks, should not be consumed freely in large amounts without understanding the exact implications of such consumption. Dilute phosphoric acid should not be used indiscriminately to release large quantities of carbonate from calcium carbonate, as the excess of the phosphate radical can trigger asthma of the  gasping type.


6. Jaisingha's Theory on Causes of Asthma

    There are many dietary and non-dietary causes of asthma. Asthma can be triggered by pollens, dust, smoke, vapors, strong odors, temperature changes and exercise. Asthma can also be caused by the chemicals ingested with foods and drinks. Even psychological factors like emotional upsets can trigger asthma. In this article, I have concentrated mainly on the dietary causes of asthma to explain some of the biochemical factors that are responsible for asthma.

    There are many types of asthma. They can be identified by the different types of breathing and the nature of respiratory problems manifested by them. Respiration may be of ten or more types which can be distinguished by the amount of air inhaled and exhaled under different conditions. The nature of respiration is strongly affected by all the factors that produce biochemical changes in the body. All the nutrients and other chemicals that are ingested produce many effects on respiration. 

    It is wrong to believe that only the factors such as iron, red blood cells, blood and lungs play important roles in the respiratory processes of the human body. I can prove that even the bones play a major role in the respiratory processes involving the exchange of gases like oxygen and carbon dioxide. Because the calcium, phosphate and carbonate radicals are involved in respiration, the different types of asthma are also affected by the condition of the bones and the minerals in the bones. Asthma is a disease of the whole body as it involves the whole body.

    According to my findings, cola drinks containing phosphoric acid, soda water containing carbonic acid, baked foods containing sodium bicarbonate, and pills containing folic acid can trigger an attack of the gasping-type of asthma and related problems in susceptible persons. 

    Phosphoric acid and phosphate radical, carbonic acid, calcium carbonate, other carbonates and bicarbonates are involved in determining the type of breathing and, consequently, the type of asthma a sufferer can get. The consumption of hard water containing calcium chloride and calcium sulfate, and the excessive ingestion of zinc, can cause the depressed-breathing suffocating-type of allergic asthma in many people. Pollen and dust can trigger this type of asthma.

    Dietary imbalances, diarrhea, constipation, lack of sleep due to excessive consumption of tea, coffee and any other reasons, physical exhaustion due to prolonged exercise and excessive work, psychological factors like emotional upsets and mental tension, anemia, polycythemia, hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism are many of the factors that determine the types of asthma that can afflict different persons who become prone to the disease.

Two Main Types of Asthma

    According to the other medical scientists, asthma is a disease of the respiratory airways in which there is breathlessness due to obstruction to the flow of air in the lungs. The bronchi are constricted and the mucous membranes of the bronchi become swollen and full of secretions. The patient's breathing becomes difficult and there is a wheezing sound, which is louder during exhalation as the bronchi become narrower then. Spasmodic cough can develop in the asthmatics due to the excessive formation of secretions in the lungs.

    There are two main types of asthma which are described by the other scientists as shown below:

        1. Intrinsic asthma or bronchial asthma: This type of asthma develops in many patients who suffer from some other respiratory diseases like chronic coughs, colds and bronchitis. It is associated with infections of the upper and lower respiratory tracts.

        2. Extrinsic asthma or allergic asthma: The respiratory tubes of the asthmatics are very sensitive to the pollutants in the air. Asthmatics find it extremely difficult to tolerate the allergic agents like pollens, molds, spores, dusts of different types, mites, particles of fur and skin of animals, parts of insects, etc. Such patients have repeated attacks of sneezing and eczema whenever they come in contact with any allergic substance. Some items of food like milk, chocolate, wheat, eggs and fish, and some common drugs like aspirin, can also trigger an attack of allergic asthma in susceptible persons.

    Status asthmaticus, a continuous state of asthma, may last for hours or days. Allopathic treatments consist of giving drugs such as adrenaline (epinephrine), ephedrine, cromolyn sodium and aminophylline. The most important allopathic treatment consists of administering cortisone and other corticosteroids to the patients. Ventilation and the administration of oxygen are also used to control breathlessness. 

    Cortisone is branded as the miracle drug for the patients suffering from asthma and many other types of allergies. The hormones like cortisone and other corticosteroids are useful only in emergencies involving very severe attacks of asthma. Treating persistent asthma regularly with cortisone and other corticosteroids can cause serious side effects in the patients. Corticosteroids are mere palliatives that do not cure asthma. For curing asthma, we must understand the exact biochemical causes of asthma. This article of mine is based on my research on some of the most important biochemical causes of different types of asthma.

Biochemical Causes of Asthma

    Basically, it is the wide imbalance in the quantities or volumes of inhaled and exhaled gases like oxygen and carbon dioxide (plus water vapor) that indicates the presence of asthma. The determination of the type of asthma depends on the nature of the imbalance which develops between the inhalation and exhalation of gases in any person who suffers from asthma.

    According to my classification, the two main types of asthma can be more scientifically described as follows: 

        1. Elevated-breathing asthma or Gasping Asthma

        2. Depressed-Breathing Asthma or suffocating asthma

    There are many respiratory stimulants and depressants that influence our breathing. The nature of breathing can be used as a guide to distinguish between the two main types of asthma. But there are many variations even in these two types of asthma. All the biochemicals ingested, and all the forms of energy absorbed by the body through different routes like the air, water, food, sunshine, etc, influence the breathing of an asthmatic person. All such factors can together determine the particular type of asthma an affected person suffers from. There are different types of synergists that can cause different types of asthma.

Gasping Asthma

    In gasping asthma, there is an excessive urge for air or oxygen. The breathing becomes elevated. There is no constriction of the respiratory tubes like the bronchi, bronchioles, etc. The affected person inhales and exhales air with quick or deep gasps. In a severe attack of this type of asthma, the sufferer gasps for more and more air by breathing deeper and deeper till he feels his lungs may even burst. The breathing becomes very deep and the lungs seem to be at bursting point, even when no active physical exercise may have been performed. The feeling of extreme breathlessness and the unnatural hunger for more air can last for a short period or continue for some hours or even days in spite of the deep breathing.

    There is an imbalance between the quantity of inspired air and the quantity of expired air. There is also an imbalance in the quantities of the gases that are inhaled and exhaled. The quantity of the inspired air is higher than the quantity of the expired air. But both the inspiration and expiration tend to be elevated and are more than normal. In severe cases, the inspiration is very deep and expiration is much less than inspiration.

Causes of Gasping Asthma

    The body is unable to utilize the extra oxygen efficiently and benefit from it, as the blood is not able to get rid of the extra "carbon dioxide" produced and held in different forms in biochemical compounds. The carbonic acid which contains the carbon dioxide is very stable, and the body is unable to efficiently break it up at the normal rate and to release the carbon dioxide in normal amounts. As the greater stability of the carbonic acid keeps increasing its quantity in the blood, the urge for oxygen and its absorption by the blood also goes on increasing in the lungs. It is the quantity of the carbon dioxide-containing compounds that determines the amount of oxygen that can be taken up by the blood circulating in the lungs. As more and more carbonic acid accumulates in the blood, deeper and deeper becomes the inspiration of the air for getting more and more oxygen. In gasping asthma, the blood can take up more and more oxygen, but it cannot give up carbon dioxide in the same proportion which results in a big imbalance in the exchange involving the two gases.

    When the level of carbonic acid increases, the level of bicarbonates of sodium, potassium, calcium, etc, also rises. The normal ratio of carbonic acid to bicarbonate is about 1 : 20. So the gasping in this form of asthma is mainly due to the excessive stability of carbonic acid and bicarbonates in the blood of the asthmatics. 

    According to Jaisingha's Law of Nutrition on Synergism, as applied to respiration, the following dietary factors are synergists in elevating respiration by making breathing deeper and / or faster:

        Vitamin B2 

        Vitamin B6

        Vitamin B12  (under some conditions)

        Niacin

        Folic Acid

        Vitamin K

        Vitamin C

        Other organic Acids 

        Copper 

        Manganese (under some conditions) 

        Carbonic acid

        Bicarbonate radical

        Carbonate radical 

        Phosphoric acid

        Phosphate radical 

        Nitrate radical

        Chloride

        Iodine (forms thyroxin which makes breathing faster) 

        Etc.

    The excessive intakes of the above-mentioned dietary factors can trigger an attack of gasping asthma in susceptible persons. Anemia, and loss of blood due to any reason, is likely to cause elevated breathing. There are many non-dietary factors that elevate breathing and make respiration deeper. Gasping asthma is due to the excesses of the factors that elevate breathing, or due to the deficiencies of the factors that depress breathing, or due to both.

Cures for Gasping Asthma

    The treatment for gasping asthma should use the dietary antagonists of the factors that elevate breathing. The dietary factors that depress breathing should be consumed by the patients in larger amounts till the breathing goes down and becomes normal. The intakes of dietary factors that elevate breathing should also be reduced. The non-dietary factors that cause gasping asthma should be avoided.

    The dietary factors that help in preventing and curing gasping asthma are vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin D, calcium, sodium, potassium, magnesium, zinc, chromium (under some conditions), fluoride, etc. These dietary factors have to be taken in larger amounts to bring down the level of breathing in gasping asthma. Fluoride helps in making breathing slower by reducing the number of breaths per minute, as fluoride is an antagonist of iodine (thyroxin). All these dietary factors tend to make breathing come down to normal.

    If you have the gasping type of asthma, you should avoid foods and drinks that are particularly rich in the following chemicals and radicals: carbonic acid (H2CO3), bicarbonate (HCO3), carbonate (CO3), phosphoric acid (H3PO4), phosphate (PO4), other acids, copper and manganese. Many bakery products contain bicarbonates, carbonates and phosphate. Avoid foods and drinks containing citric acid like sour lemon, orange and lime, and other sour fruits. Reduce the intakes of food items made from whole wheat flour and other unrefined cereals as they are rich in the phosphate radical.

    In the following paragraphs, I have explained some specific causes of gasping asthma and the measures that can be taken to prevent and cure such cases.

Carbonic & Phosphoric Acids

    Carbonic acid of any soft drink directly elevates the breathing as soon as it gets into the blood of the person who consumes it. Soda water contains carbonic acid. Cola drinks contain both carbonic acid and phosphoric acid. The consumption of dilute phosphoric acid produces gasping by releasing large amounts of carbonic acid which is derived directly or indirectly from sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3), potassium bicarbonate (KHCO3) and calcium bicarbonate Ca(HCO3)2 in the blood, and calcium carbonate (CaCO3) from the bones.

            H3PO4 + 3NaHCO3   ==> Na3PO4 + 3H2CO3

            H3PO4 + 3KHCO3     ==>   K3PO4 + 3H2CO3

            H3PO4 + Ca(HCO3)2 ==> CaHPO4 + 2H2CO3  

            H3PO4 + CaCO3       ==> CaHPO4 +  H2CO3

    Such reactions greatly increase the quantity of carbonic acid in the blood to make breathing deeper and deeper. So the ingestion of soft drinks  containing phosphoric acid triggers gasping asthma in susceptible persons.

Important Role of Zinc

    One main cause of this type of asthma is the inability of the patient's body to efficiently break down the carbonic acid (H2CO3) into carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O). Such patients have a deficiency of zinc or the inability of the zinc enzymes to efficiently break down the carbonic acid into carbon dioxide and water. In such persons, exercise can trigger an attack of asthma leading to extreme breathlessness, making them gasp for more and more air. An excess of carbonic acid in the blood is a strong stimulus for the breathing to become deeper and deeper in order to get more and more oxygen.

    An adequate amount of zinc is required to help, directly and indirectly, in the processes that convert calcium carbonate into calcium bicarbonate, the transfer of bicarbonate to sodium and potassium, then the formation of carbonic acid and finally the release of carbon dioxide and water.

    Zinc enzymes like carbonic anhydrase break down carbonic acid into carbon dioxide and water. Zinc enzymes depress breathing by reducing the total amount of carbonic acid and bicarbonates in the blood and other tissues of the body. It is known that the level  of carbonic acid in the blood determines the depth of breathing. Zinc also helps in reducing the effects of copper and manganese, which are the antagonists of zinc as they elevate breathing.

    Zinc plays a crucial role in preventing and curing fever associated with the gasping asthma as its enzymes help in the breakdown of carbonic acid to release water, which helps in keeping the body cool through the process of perspiration. The other mineral that helps in preventing fever is sodium taken in the form of a salt like sodium sulfate.

Exercise & Asthma

    Exercise, stress due to laborious work, and lack of rest and sleep can cause an increase in the compounds that contain carbon dioxide in the body. Actually, most of the carbon dioxide is present as part of the bicarbonates. The blood plasma and other body fluids cannot really hold carbon dioxide in the form of gas. The presence of gas bubbles of carbon dioxide or even oxygen in the blood plasma can cause death in a short time. Exercise and other physical activities elevate breathing. Rest and sleep tend to bring down the respiration to normal.

   During the performance of vigorous and prolonged physical exercise, deep and rapid breathing is not enough for the body to get rid of all the massive quantities of carbonic acid that is formed rapidly. The body also consumes massive amounts of oxygen during vigorous or prolonged exercise. In spite of deeper and rapid breathing, the body becomes deficient in oxygen during any bout of strenuous exercise. After the stoppage of exercise, the body remains deficient in oxygen for a long time afterwards. It takes some time for the body to be able to fully compensate for the loss of oxygen and to build up the oxygen reserves again. The body becomes exhausted due to the deficit of oxygen and the deficiencies of many biochemicals that develop due to the strenuous exercise.  

    Strenuous or prolonged exercise can trigger an attack of gasping asthma in susceptible persons whose bodies cannot efficiently break down or remove the extra carbonic acid formed, and that causes breathing to become deeper and faster. When large amounts of carbonic acid are produced, only some of it can be immediately broken down into carbon dioxide and water in the lungs or be converted into, and be balanced by, sodium, potassium and calcium bicarbonates.

    Most of the carbon dioxide is held as part of the bicarbonates in the blood and other soft tissues. Only some limited quantities of the bicarbonates can immediately be converted into carbonic acid which may be split up to release carbon dioxide and water in the lungs during and immediately after exercise.

    When the level of carbonic acid increases, the level of bicarbonates of sodium, potassium, calcium, etc, also rises. The normal ratio of carbonic acid to bicarbonate is about 1 : 20.

Great Role of Calcium

    When massive quantities of carbonic acid and bicarbonates are formed rapidly due to exercise, the excessive amounts must be removed to keep the various biochemicals in some sort of an equilibrium in the blood and other tissues of the body. During vigorous or prolonged exercise, the healthy body should normally be able to remove the excessive amounts of carbonic acid and bicarbonates formed in the blood and other tissues by converting them into carbonate with the help of the calcium ions. This process of conversion from carbonic acid to carbonate is done in stages.

    According to my research, the body must resort to such an action to prevent the excessive accumulation of carbonic acid and bicarbonates in the blood and other soft tissues. If the bicarbonates accumulate and become excessive, calcium bicarbonate can be converted into calcium carbonate and stored in the bones. It is the calcium ions that have to grab the excessive amounts of bicarbonate ions to store them in the bones as carbonate of calcium. An adequate quantity of calcium ions should, therefore, be available to convert the excessive amounts of bicarbonates into calcium carbonate. The removal of the excessive amounts of carbonic acid and bicarbonate ions from the blood can help in bringing down the breathing level to make it normal. 

    Once calcium carbonate is stored in the bones, it cannot easily be removed from there. During relaxation and rest over a period of time, calcium carbonate can be converted gradually into calcium bicarbonate, and the bicarbonate is then transferred from calcium to sodium, potassium and hydrogen ions to produce carbonic acid. Finally, the carbonic acid gets broken down into carbon dioxide and water to be released in the lungs in exchange for oxygen. Zinc enzymes, like carbonic anhydrase, play a crucial role in breaking down carbonic acid into carbon dioxide and water.

    Calcium chloride (CaCl2), calcium sulfate (CaSO4) and dilute calcium hydroxide {Ca(OH)2} can help in neutralizing the gasping effect of the phosphate radical (PO4).

Other Alkaline Radicals

    Besides the calcium salts, the chemical compounds containing sodium, potassium and magnesium can also depress breathing and are part of the cure for gasping asthma. These alkaline radicals counter the effects of acids and acidic radicals like phosphate, bicarbonate, chloride, etc. Sodium sulfate (Na2SO4 ), potassium sulfate (K2SO4) and magnesium sulfate (MgSO4) are suitable for this purpose. The intakes of these salts should, however, be properly controlled as they are laxative. Sodium phosphate (Na3PO4), potassium phosphate (K3PO4) and magnesium phosphate {Mg3(PO4)2} are not suitable for this purpose as the phosphate radical must be avoided in gasping asthma. 

    Citric acid, ammonium chloride (NH4Cl), potassium iodide (KI), sodium Iodide (NaI), potassium nitrate (KNO3, saltpeter), sodium nitrate (NaNO3, Chile saltpeter), copper sulfate (CuSO4) and other compounds of copper, manganese sulfate (MnSO4) and other salts of manganese, should also be avoided by patients with gasping asthma. Copper and manganese are antagonists of zinc. So the processed foods, drinks and medicines containing their salts should be avoided by persons with gasping asthma. Such patients should not drink water stored in copper and brass vessels. Persons with dental fillings and caps containing copper can get extra quantities of the metal from their teeth. They should not have dental fillings, caps or bridges containing copper. Their teeth should be free of copper. 

    A micronutrient like fluoride can be used to counter the effects of excess iodine which makes breathing faster. The consumption of tea, which is rich in fluoride, can help in providing some relief to persons with gasping asthma. Chromium makes breathing shallow under certain conditions and may help in controlling gasping asthma.

Sex & Gasping Asthma

    Sexual gratification, leading to the loss of semen by men, causes elevation in breathing and can trigger an attack of gasping asthma in susceptible persons. Such persons should avoid excessive indulgence in sex as that can definitely lead to the development of chronic asthma in them in the long run. Avoiding too much sex, and reducing the loss of semen, will tend to bring the respiration down to normal in such men.

    During the period of lactation, mothers who have to breastfeed excessively hungry infants, especially twins, are likely to suffer from an attack of gasping caused by too much lactation. Such women should reduce their lactation by feeding their infants with cow's milk besides some milk of their own. 


To understand the different types of asthma more perfectly, we must identify all the nutrients and other biochemicals that elevate breathing. We should also identity all the nutrients and other biochemicals that depress breathing.


Depressed-Breathing Asthma

    In depressed-breathing asthma, which is an allergic type of asthma, the sufferer tends to inhale less and less air making him feel terribly suffocated. There is severe constriction of the airways in the lungs, because the respiratory system is unable to tolerate the air even in normal quantities. As the air itself causes the irritation, most of the inspired air is thrown out forcefully through strong coughing. The respiratory system is not able to tolerate the intake of even an adequate amount of oxygen because of the high irritability of the mucous membranes of the respiratory organs.

Causes of Depressed-Breathing Asthma

    In depressed-breathing asthma, there is an allergic reaction mainly or also against the oxygen which fact is not understood by other scientists. Deeper breathing only produces spasms in the airways of the lungs and the paroxysms of cough pushes the inspired air out. The allergy to even the normal amount of oxygen is because the blood is deficient in the compounds containing carbon dioxide, and the body is not able to provide enough of carbon oxide in exchange for the oxygen in the lungs. The body can take up enough oxygen only if it can give up a proportionate amount of carbon dioxide in the exchange of gases. In this type of asthma, the blood is severely deficient in carbonic acid which contains the carbon dioxide. There can also be an excessive production of bronchial secretions by the mucous membranes of the respiratory organs of the affected person. The copious production of mucus can prevent the oxygen from damaging the mucous membranes through the process of oxidation of the mucous membranes themselves.

    In the case of depressed-breathing asthma too, there is an imbalance between the quantity of inspired air and the quantity of expired air. There is also an imbalance in the quantities of the gases that are inhaled and exhaled. The quantity of the inspired air is less than the quantity of the expired air. But both the inspiration and expiration tend to be depressed and are less than normal.

    In severe cases, the inspiration is extremely shallow and expiration is more than inspiration. The blood can continue to lose more and more carbonic acid to provide some carbon dioxide needed for the exchange of gases, even though hardly any oxygen can be taken up, especially when the spasmodic cough drives the air out. The decreasing carbonic acid in the blood prolongs the depressed-breathing asthma.

    According to Jaisingha's Law of Nutrition on Synergism, as applied to respiration, the following factors are synergists in depressing respiration by making breathing shallow and / or slower:

        Vitamin A

        Vitamin E

        Vitamin D

        Calcium

        Sodium

        Potassium

        Magnesium

        Zinc

        Chromium (under certain conditions)

        Fluoride (makes breathing slower, being an antagonist of iodine)

        Etc. 

    The excessive intakes of the above-mentioned dietary factors can trigger an attack of depressed-breathing suffocating asthma in susceptible persons. Polycythemia (high RBC count) is likely to depress breathing in certain conditions. There are many non-dietary factors that depress breathing and make respiration shallow.

    Depressed-breathing asthma is due to the excesses of the factors that depress breathing, or due to deficiencies of the factors that elevate breathing, or due to both.

Cures for Depressed-Breathing Asthma

    The treatment for depressed-breathing asthma should use the dietary antagonists of the factors that depress breathing. The dietary factors that elevate breathing should be consumed by the patients in larger amounts till the breathing goes up and becomes normal. The intakes of dietary factors that depress breathing should also be reduced. The non-dietary factors that cause depressed-breathing asthma in a particular individual should be identified and avoided.

    The dietary factors that help in preventing and curing the depressed-breathing asthma are vitamin B2, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, niacin, folic acid, vitamin K, vitamin C, other organic acids, copper, manganese (under some conditions), carbonic acid, carbonate and bicarbonate radicals, phosphoric acid, phosphate radical, nitrate radical, chloride, iodine, etc. All these dietary factors tend to make breathing deeper.

    These dietary factors have to be taken in larger amounts to increase the level of breathing in depressed-breathing asthma. The intake of more iodine is required for the production of more thyroxin which helps in making breathing faster by increasing the number of breaths per minute. Iodine is an antagonist of fluoride. Folic acid and vitamin K should be taken strictly under the guidance of an expert nutritionist.

    In the following paragraphs, I have explained some specific causes of depressed-breathing asthma and the measures that can be taken to prevent and cure such cases.

Zinc & Depressed Breathing Asthma

    If you have an allergic type of depressed-breathing asthma, you should avoid the excessive ingestion of zinc that results from drinking the water supplied through zinc-coated pipes, and stored in zinc-coated tanks and other vessels. Excessive amounts of zinc can very easily enter many processed foods, drinks and medicines. Persons with dental fillings, caps or bridges  containing zinc can get extra quantities of the metal from their teeth. Therefore, many persons can easily get excessive amounts of zinc from many different sources. The excessive formation of zinc enzymes in the body causes a massive break up of carbonic acid and greatly reduces the quantities of bicarbonates in the blood and carbonates in the bones. By drastically reducing the carbonic acid in the blood, the excessive quantity of zinc enzymes depresses the breathing which can result in giving depressed-breathing asthma to the affected persons.

    Zinc salts should not be consumed in excessive amounts as the excessive formation of zinc enzymes in the body causes a massive break up of carbonic acid and greatly reduces the quantities of bicarbonates in the blood and calcium carbonate in the bones and teeth.

    Many persons can easily get excessive amounts of zinc from many different sources. The excessive ingestion of zinc can result from drinking the water supplied through zinc-coated pipes and stored in zinc-coated tanks and other vessels. Excessive amounts of zinc can very easily enter many processed foods, drinks and medicines. Persons with dental fillings, caps or bridges containing zinc can get extra quantities of the metal from their teeth. Those who have weak bones should not get dental fillings, caps or bridges containing zinc. Their teeth should be free of zinc. 

    The ingestion of large amounts of zinc is known to cause a severe deficiency or relative deficiency of copper in the human body. Copper and manganese help to elevate breathing by reducing the effectiveness of zinc. The intakes of copper sulfate (CuSO4), manganese sulfate (MnSO4) or other suitable compounds of copper and manganese can help to reduce and counter the effects of excess zinc. Instead of taking a copper salt, a patient can drink daily about 2 to 3 cups of water stored in a copper vessel. The other factors that help to reduce and counter the effects of excess zinc are carbonic acid, dilute phosphoric acid, other dietary acids, phosphates and nitrates.

    Persons with depressed-breathing asthma should drink soda water and other suitable carbonated drinks. Soda water contains carbonic acid (H2CO3) which directly deepens breathing after getting absorbed into the blood. Cola drinks contain both carbonic acid and phosphoric acid. Other carbonated drinks contain citric acid and vitamin C. The consumption of such soft drinks can help in making breathing deeper.

Calcium & Depressed-Breathing Asthma

    Calcium chloride (CaCl2) and calcium sulfate (CaSO4) are found in hard water. The hard water containing calcium chloride and calcium sulfate can cause depressed-breathing asthma in the persons consuming such water. The excessive quantity of calcium ions results in the binding of large amounts of bicarbonate and carbonate ions to calcium, and there is a drastic reduction in the carbonic acid in the blood of the affected persons. There is an imbalance in the biochemicals of the blood. The steep fall in the carbonic acid causes irritation and constriction in the respiratory tubes along with a paroxysmal cough and an excessive production of phlegm.

    The excessive amount of calcium ions also produces a relative deficiency of phosphate ions. The consumption of dilute phosphoric acid is capable of reducing the irritation caused by this type of suffocating cough and excessive phlegm in the respiratory tubes. The respiratory tubes can then become wider and clearer and also be able to tolerate the inhalation of more air (oxygen).

    So, the patients with depressed-breathing asthma should avoid drinking hard water which contains calcium chloride and calcium sulfate, and also foods, drinks and medicines containing such salts of calcium. Calcium chloride and calcium sulfate can be removed from hard water with the addition of sodium carbonate to get soft water and a precipitate of insoluble calcium carbonate as shown below:

                  Hard Water => Soft Water 

          CaCl2 + Na2CO3 => CaCO3 + 2NaCl

         CaSO4 + Na2CO3 => CaCO3 + Na2SO4

Consumption of Dilute Phosphoric Acid

    The consumption of dilute phosphoric acid (H3PO4) corrects the depressed breathing by releasing carbonic acid which is derived, directly or indirectly,  from sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3),  potassium bicarbonate (KHCO3) and calcium bicarbonate {Ca(HCO3)2} in the blood, and calcium carbonate (CaCO3) from the bones. The phosphate ions bind the calcium ions to form dicalcium phosphate, which may later get converted into tricalcium phosphate to be stored in the bones. The hydrogen ions combine with the available bicarbonate and carbonate ions to give carbonic acid.

            H3PO4 + 3NaHCO3   ==> Na3PO4 + 3H2CO3

            H3PO4 + 3KHCO3     ==> K3PO4   + 3H2CO3

            H3PO4 + Ca(HCO3)2 ==> CaHPO4 + 2H2CO3

            H3PO4 + CaCO3       ==> CaHPO4 + H2CO3

    The intake of dilute phosphoric acid (H3PO4) results in the phosphate radical displacing more bicarbonate from sodium, potassium and calcium bicarbonates in the blood, and also carbonate from the calcium carbonate of the bones, to produce large amounts of carbonic acid. Such reactions increase the quantity of carbonic acid in the blood to make breathing deeper. 

    The general outline of the formula for the conversion process is as follows:

        CaCO3 => Ca(HCO3)2 => NaHCO3 & KHCO3 => H2CO3 => H2O + CO2

    The least soluble calcium carbonate of the bones gets converted into the more soluble calcium bicarbonate, which can enter the blood stream. The bicarbonate is then transferred from calcium to sodium, potassium and hydrogen ions and, finally, the carbonic acid gets broken down into carbon dioxide and water in the lungs.

Alkaline Minerals

    Processed foods, drinks and medicines containing salts of alkaline minerals like sodium sulfate (Na2SO4), potassium sulfate (K2SO4) and magnesium sulfate (MgSO4) can depress breathing and should be avoided by patients with depressed-breathing asthma. Citric acid, carbonic acid, dilute phosphoric acid and other suitable acids can reverse such an effect of these salts of sodium, potassium and magnesium. Juices of citrus fruits, other sour foods and drinks containing dietary organic acids and vitamin C are very helpful in undoing the depressed breathing caused by alkaline minerals.

    Like the other alkaline minerals, the ingestion of aluminium too can depress breathing. The excessive use of alum to purify water causes a sore threat and cough in susceptible persons who drink such water. As it is an astringent, aluminium has a somewhat  irritating effect on the mucous membranes of the gastro-intestinal tract, and later on even the respiratory tract, due to its harmful biochemical effect on the whole body. The excessive ingestion of aluminium can harm the mucous membranes of the mouth, food pipe, stomach and intestines, but the excessive absorption of aluminium can even cause irritation and other problems in the respiratory tract, besides a sore throat and cough. The irritating effect of the absorbed aluminium can finally harm all the mucous membranes of the body. The astringent effect of aluminium can constrict air passages in the lungs.

    Even the consumption of tea, which is the richest food source of aluminium, is harmful for a person who suffers from a sore throat and the cough that develops from the sore throat. The excess of aluminium delays the curing of a cough and sore throat. The astringent effect of aluminium in tea can also constrict the air passages of the lungs. Aluminium from alum-treated water and from tea can do a lot of harm to patients prone to depressed-breathing asthma. Even the consumption of foods and drinks cooked and stored in aluminium utensils is harmful for the sufferers. All the steps should be taken to reduce the ingestion of aluminium from all sources.

    Alcohol depresses breathing and so it should be avoided by persons having depressed-breathing asthma.

Fluoride

    The compounds of fluoride are used for the fluoridation of water in western countries. Fluoride salts like calcium fluoride (CaF2), sodium fluoride (NaF) and potassium fluoride (KF) are used in toothpastes and mouth washes. The regular ingestion of excessive amounts of fluoride through drinking water, toothpastes, mouthwashes and foods cooked in teflon-coated utensils, causes severe constipation, hypothyroidism, frequent infections like coughs and colds. heart disease, arthritis and spondylosis with stiff and painful bone joints, impotence and sterility, premature ageing and early death in the affected persons.

    An excessive ingestion of fluoride can cause very severe depressed breathing as it can prevent the adequate formation, and the efficient functioning, of thyroxin in the bodies of persons using fluoride-containing products and drinking fluoridated water. Being rich in fluoride, tea also can depress the breathing of persons who consume it. The consumption of products containing the fluoride compounds should be stopped, and iodine can then be used to reverse the effects of excess fluoride.

    Fluoride and other such toxic chemicals should never be added to drinking water.

Rest and Sleep 

   Rest and sleep help in reducing the carbon dioxide (CO2) in the body. Excessive relaxation and sleep may be one factor in causing depressed-breathing asthma or the so-called allergic asthma. In such cases, exercise, more work, less sleep and less rest can help to increase the carbon dioxide in the body and in raising the respiration to normal. It is also wrong to believe that carbon dioxide is a poison. The excessive amounts of carbon dioxide are harmful, but any deficiencies of carbon dioxide and the biochemcals containing it are also very harmful, as such biochemicals are absolutely essential for life. Too much oxygen is also toxic for the body. A severe deficiency of carbon dioxide in the body causes depressed breathing which can lead to the suffocating type of asthma, or the so-called allergic asthma. There should be a proper balance between various biochemicals in the body including those containing oxygen and carbon dioxide. 

    Severe deficiencies of carbonic acid, bicarbonates and carbonates cause aches and pains all over the body due to the decalcification and weakening of the bones and teeth, leading to arthritis, spondylosis, damage to the kidneys and premature aging.

Abstinence from Sex & Depressed Breathing

 Abstinence from sex by men, and retention of semen in their bodies for long periods, can cause depressed breathing in many men. That can make susceptible men get depressed-breathing asthma. Sexual gratification, leading to the ejaculation of semen, can help to elevate the breathing to normal levels in such persons.

    During the period of lactation, mothers who avoid breast-feeding their infants are likely to suffer from depressed breathing caused by the retention of milk in their mammary glands. Susceptible women can even get asthma which is associated with depressed-breathing. Such women should breast-feed their infants and empty their mammary glands regularly to avoid the development of depressed-breathing asthma in them.

Petroleum Contaminants & Asthma 

    Petroleum contaminants in foods and drinks can damage the mucous membranes of the gastro-intestinal tract, kidneys and other organs by causing a deficiency of mucus. The ingestion of petroleum contaminants cause inflammation and ulcers in the gastro-intestinal tract, pain in the kidneys, respiratory diseases and even AIDS. Once there is a deficiency of mucus, all the mucous membranes, including those of the respiratory organs, become highly sensitive or allergic to many substances and chemicals, including some nutrients, and even oxygen of the inhaled air. The ingestion of petroleum-contaminated foods and drinks can cause depressed-breathing asthma.  

    Besides the smoke, the regular inhalation of unburned vapors of petroleum products, including the so-called clean liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), can cause allergic coughs, colds, bronchitis and asthma in drivers of vehicles, petrol pump attendants, garage workers and cooks. Housewives who cook food are, therefore, more likely to suffer from the suffocating depressed-breathing asthma by inhaling the vapor of LPG which has become a common domestic fuel.

Asthma due to Imbalances between B-Complex & Vitamin E

    Many different respiratory problems can be caused by the high doses of the B-complex. So the consumption of high dosage tablets of the B-complex can produce an attack of asthma in many persons who are prone to the disease. It is the imbalances between the B-complex factors and vitamin E in the body that can cause breathing problems and asthma in susceptible persons. Many of the B-complex factors have oxidizing properties while vitamin E is an antioxidant.

    Gasping may result from the effects of the high intakes of vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, niacin and, more particularly, vitamin B12 and folic acid, when they are taken without a balancing intake of vitamin E. The intake of vitamin E in correctly balanced doses can prevent and cure the gasping caused by the high doses of the B-complex. High doses of the B-complex, particularly vitamin B1 and vitamin B12, can also cause other reactions like headaches and insomnia, and there can also be aches and pains with burning sensations in many other parts of the body. Vitamin E in appropriate doses can prevent such reactions.

    Conversely, the depressed breathing caused by an excessive intake of vitamin E can be cured with the intakes of balancing doses of the B-complex factors. Vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, niacin and, more particularly, vitamin B12 and folic acid can make breathing deeper and counter the action of vitamin E in depressing breathing. Folic acid is one of the most effective nutrients which can cure depressed-breathing asthma. Folic acid tablets should, however, be taken only under the guidance of an expert nutritionist.

    Unlike the beneficial effects of taking an antioxidant like vitamin E with the B-complex, a high dose of vitamin C is incompatible with large amounts of the B-complex factors and can cause gasping asthma in susceptible persons. The combination of high doses of vitamin C and the B-complex can produce hyperacidity in many people who may consequently also suffer from gasping asthma. Similarly, the consumption of large amounts of citric acid and other dietary acids are incompatible with the B-complex as they can also cause hyperacidity and asthma. Paradoxically, high doses of preformed vitamin A and the B-complex taken together can depress breathing.

Incompatible & Allergic Combinations of Nutrients

    Many cases of asthma can be caused by various incompatible combinations of two or more of the following nutrients when they are consumed regularly in large amounts: vitamin A, vitamin K, fat, protein, iron, copper, some B-complex factors, acids like citric acid and vinegar, nitrates and some other compounds of nitrogen used in foods as additives. A large dose of preformed vitamin A can form dangerous allergic combinations with a number of nutrients which can trigger asthma. A person, susceptible to asthma, who takes a pill containing a large amount of vitamin A immediately before or after eating a meal rich in protein and fat, can get an allergic attack within a short time. 

    The consumption of inorganic iron salts without potassium, vitamin C and vitamin E is dangerous and can cause an allergic attack. Preformed vitamin A also forms an incompatible combination with an iron salt. An iron salt should not be taken with pills containing vitamin A. The high doses of preformed vitamin A and an iron salt taken with protein, fat and acids can cause an instant attack of asthma. The addition of vitamin K, folic acid, copper, fluoride, nitrate and other such factors makes this combination even more extremely dangerous.

    I am sure that most of the diseases and epidemics are not due to viruses, germs or other micro-organisms. Many  diseases and epidemics are mainly caused by the chemical adulteration and contamination of foods and drinks and the pollution of air and water.

    Micro-organisms can only play havoc in a body whose immunity has already been weakened by the biochemical imbalances caused by the harmful adulterants, contaminants and pollutants. It is foolish to believe that the different vaccinations and inoculations can help in preventing or curing the diseases and epidemics that are actually caused by all the old and new harmful chemicals and poisons that are present in the contaminated and adulterated foods and drinks and the environment.

    Many epidemics are due to the chemical contamination and adulteration of foods and drinks which are common items of daily use like bread, biscuits, cakes, pastries, toffees, chocolates, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, butter, cheese, other milk products, salt,  wheat flour, rice, cooking oils and fats, cola and other soft drinks, ice-cream, custard, alcohol, etc.

Chemical adulterants, other harmful additives, contaminants like residues of pesticides and petroleum products in processed foods of mass consumption are definitely causing many epidemics in India very regularly. Bottled water and cola drinks are not the only products contaminated with harmful chemicals and residues of pesticides. In India it is very common to get low quality, spurious or duplicate foods and drinks like bread, biscuits, cakes, pastries, toffees, chocolates, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, butter, cheese, other milk products, salt,  wheat flour, rice, cooking oils and fats, soft drinks, ice-cream, custard, alcohol, etc. 

    Spices and dry fruits, due to their high prices, are sprayed generously with large amounts of pesticides to prevent them from being attacked by insects. It does not matter to the suppliers and traders if, in the process, human beings getting poisoned! 

    Chillies, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cloves (lavang) and cinnamon bark (dalchini, lavang patti) are the spices most commonly adulterated in India. Cheap harmful preservatives are added to pickles. The packaged brands of edible oils and fats are also very commonly adulterated. Many of them are spurious as they are packed illegally by unknown people who use the brand names of well-known manufacturers of oils and fats. Even salt and sugar are adulterated and contaminated. 

    The powdered dung of the holy cows is most widely used in the adulteration of coriander powder and other spices. Traces of the urine of holy cows may be even deliberately mixed in milk to make it the holy elixir that may be fed to the millions of Indian people without their knowledge. According to some dogmatist and obscurantist Hindu leaders that would also make India remain a Hindu-majority country for ever.

    There are many other harmful adulterants which are widely used in different food products in India. Brick powder is used for adulterating chillies. Sawdust is very commonly mixed with coriander powder and other spices. White powdered stone or chalk is found in common salt. Powdered sugar may have washing soda, chalk or white flour (maida) in it. Copper salts are used for coloring  pickles and lady's fingers (okra). Lead chromate is used for coloring cheap adulterants, like sawdust, which are mixed with turmeric. Lead poisoning can cause anemia, paralysis, mental retardation, brain damage and miscarriages. Malachite green is applied to fennel seeds (saunf). Black pepper is adulterated with look-alike papaya seeds. Metanil yellow is widely used for coloring sweets and pulses (like arhar, moong and chana daal). Cancer-causing coal tar dyes are used for coloring coffee, tea and pulses. Ghee and butter are very commonly adulterated with cheap hydrogenated fats (vanaspati). Ice-cream can contain washing powder. Oxytocin found in contaminated milk is known to cause abortions and sterility.

Synthetic Milk Kills & Maims Millions of Indians!

    India has the dubious distinction of starting a bogus white revolution. Why should our government falsely state that our country is the largest producer of milk in the world? What is the nature and quality of that milk? India is, in fact, the largest producer of adulterated milk. Milk is adulterated not just with water, but also with the poisonous synthetic milk. India may or may not be the world's largest producer of milk, but India certainly deserves to be awarded the gold medal for being the largest producer of synthetic milk in the world! After getting our bodies poisoned, our most corrupt political leaders and bureaucrats still expect the poisoned lazy bones and muscles of our athletes to help them win medals in the Olympics!

    The sale of adulterated milk has increased enormously in India. Synthetic milk is a fluid mixture which looks like milk. So, milk is increasingly adulterated with synthetic milk which contains dangerous substances like urea and liquid detergent or soap. Urea, liquid detergent, table salt, vegetable oil and sugar or glucose are mixed together in water to make synthetic milk. The addition of hydrogen peroxide increases its shelf life.

    The toxic liquid detergent in synthetic milk can irritate the bowels causing abdominal pains and diarrhea. It is logical to believe that the consumption of milk which is adulterated with synthetic milk can cause loss of teeth, arthritis, bone fractures and even sudden death in infants and young children. It can definitely retard the growth and development in the bodies of children and teenagers. When even the grown-ups can suffer terribly due to the consumption of synthetic milk, which causes diarrhea, asthma, swelling of the limbs, heart problems and cancer, what cannot happen to young children whose main diet is milk?

    The producers of synthetic milk are killing and maiming countless Indians of all ages. The producers of synthetic milk are food adulterators who are the most merciless mass murderers of millions of infants and older children in India! Can we ever know how many children die or become physically handicapped for the whole of their lives due to the consumption of synthetic milk?

Synthetic Tea and Coffee

    Like synthetic milk, we also get synthetic tea leaves and synthetic coffee powder in India made from toxic ingredients instead of the real tea leaves and real coffee beans. The used tea leaves or cheap leaves of other plants are colored for making spurious tea. Harmful cancer-causing coal tar dyes, flavors, tannin or caffeine, preservatives and powdered sawdust may be used in producing synthetic tea or coffee. Even iron filings are mixed with spurious tea dust. Instant coffee is also likely to be adulterated because of its very high price.

    The brews made from synthetic tea dust and synthetic instant coffee powder may taste like tea and coffee, but the brews make consumers terribly sick and keep them sick. Instead of helping in curing colds and coughs, adulterated and contaminated tea and coffee can make them worse. They can rather become the causes of colds and coughs, which cannot be cured so long as the harmful synthetic tea and coffee brews continue to be consumed by the unfortunate victims of adulteration. 

    Even the genuine tea leaves can be dangerous if pesticides have been sprayed on them in the tea gardens. The pesticides sprayed on the tea leaves are absorbed by the tea leaves during respiration. These pesticides can come out of the tea leaves only when they are brewed, and then get into the cups from which the consumers drink the contaminated tea.

    The consumption of adulterated and contaminated tea may be a cause of one type of SARS. How can any person who gets SARS get cured when he continues to consume the toxic tea every day?

Contaminated Fruits & Vegetables cause Epidemics

    Instead of preventing coughs and colds, the consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables contaminated with harmful chemical colors and pesticides can actually trigger coughs, colds and other illnesses. The contaminated fruits and vegetables can even prolong diseases and make them difficult to cure or control.

    We can sometimes get brinjals (eggplant) treated with some toxic chemical that has a very pungent or burning taste that causes sores in the mouth and food pipe. Other vegetables like cauliflower and cabbage can also contain dangerously pungent chemicals. 

    Spinach and other leafy vegetables which have pesticides sprayed on them can do great harm to the consumers. We must know that the leaves of plants ingest the sprayed pesticides along with the air taken in during respiration (breathing) through the pores in them. These absorbed poisons cannot be removed by any amount of washing with water as the poisons have gone deep into the inner cores of leaves along with the inspired air. The pesticides that go deep inside the cores of leafy vegetables and get stored there cannot be removed without destroying the leaves themselves. So, the leafy vegetables contaminated with sprayed pesticides are the most harmful vegetables.

    Many organs of the body can get adversely affected by the toxic chemicals and pesticides ingested along with food, which can cause many diseases and even cancer. We cannot easily know to what extent they can harm us because newer and newer toxic chemicals and pesticides are being used on vegetables, fruits and other food crops.

Pune is a City in Hell

    The city of Pune, where I live, is a place located in a country which is the Largest Hell on Earth. Like in many other places of India where milk is adulterated with the poisonous synthetic milk, spurious milk containing dangerous chemicals is sold in Pune too. When the spurious milk gets spoilt, it does not taste sour, but it becomes unbearably offensive and extremely bitter in taste. 

    Living in Pune, which has one of the highest percentages of AIDS cases, we have to learn how to survive in one of the most poisoned cities in the world. The manufacturers and distributors of adulterated and spurious food products are involved in committing massive frauds on the unwary and unsuspecting consumers of Pune with the connivance and collaboration of food inspectors and other government officials. Spices are very commonly adulterated. We get all types of adulterated, spurious and duplicate foods and drinks. 

    In Pune, we get not just cola drinks laced with pesticides, we also get spurious chocolates out of which even worms can emerge! How many persons must have eaten the spurious chocolates infested with the eggs of worms before they hatched in chocolates and emerged? The eggs must have hatched and become worms in the bodies of many of the consumers of chocolates in Pune!

    Laboratory tests have proved that the people of Pune have been eating highly contaminated vegetables including the leafy varieties. We get tea leaves and powder containing not just the pesticides. In one case of adulterated tea dust bearing the name of a famous brand, I saw vapor from the tea dust coming out in the form of fumes! Which chemical additive in spurious tea makes the dry tea dust give out fumes?

    We get spurious toothpastes with dangerous chemicals which can make the teeth decay and the gums bleed. Such toothpastes, whose tubes bear the names of top international companies, are made illegally by many unlicensed industrial units in Pune. Such spurious toothpastes using the names of well-known brands have massive sales, but they make the teeth of unfortunate users decay faster and fall out many years earlier than they normally should.

Adulteration of Cooking Oils

    Harmful additives, preservatives, colors, flavors and other chemicals used in the different brands of cooking oils can cause allergies, asthma, constipation or diarrhea, and other diseases.

    Argemone seeds resemble black mustard seeds. Mustard seeds adulterated with argemone seeds give a toxic cooking oil whose consumption causes dropsy. The consumption of adulterated mustard oil can lead to purging and vomiting. Besides diarrhea, dropsy causes swelling of the legs, heart disease and blindness. 

   Castor oil can be a contaminant in cooking oils, fats and foodgrains. Castor oil used for adulterating cooking oils causes purging diarrhea. As an allopathic medicine, castor oil is used regularly as a purgative by many people all over the world.  In some countries, like India, a thin coating of castor oil is used on oilseeds and foodgrains to protect them from insects.The ingestion of small quantities of castor oil can cause diarrhea in many person. The same problem is caused by the traces of petroleum in edible oil. After its extraction from oilseeds, the cooking oil which is contaminated with the residues of hexane petrol can also cause diarrhea.

Additives in Cooking Oils cause Impotence!

    Some new brands of cooking oils and fats, introduced in the last few years by the multinational companies (MNCs) in India and other poor developing countries, cause severe constipation, heart disease, strokes and even impotence! Many cases of impotence are due to the consumption of harmful additives present in the new brands of cooking oils that are manufactured in collaboration with MNCs. 

    I have a very strong suspicion that some chemicals are deliberately added by the MNCs to the cooking oils and other widely used food products to cause severe impotence in millions of unsuspecting consumers at the behest of the multinational drug companies. Due to this big conspiracy of the MNCs to cause widespread impotence, millions of people who become impotent by consuming such food products manufactured by the MNCs can be compelled to take treatment regularly with the costly sex stimulants sold by the multinational drug companies. The multinational drug companies are thus able to sell their high-priced sex stimulants to more and more people to earn billions of dollars.

    The rich and the higher middle class people, who become impotent by consuming such oils manufactured by the MNCs, can afford to take treatments with costly sex stimulants sold by the multinational drug companies. However, the conspiracy to make millions of people impotent may be much bigger than the mere desire to sell sex stimulating drugs. Are they measures to reduce the populations of poor developing countries through the clandestine family planning methods with the help of foreign Governments and MNCs? I suspect that the new birth control measures are being adopted secretly in India and other poor developing countries with the help of some foreign Governments and MNCs. The use of artificial sex stimulants is also known to shorten life. 

    It seems clear that some new dangerous chemicals are being tested on the unsuspecting people of India by putting such chemicals in cooking oils and other goods of mass consumption. These cooking oils are the cheaper kinds of sunflower, soybean and palm oils that can cause premature deaths of the poor and lower middle class people who consume such oils. Unlike others, I am not surprised at the sudden deaths of some healthy persons in Pune, India. Should we not find out the details about the types of harmful chemicals that are put in the cooking oils and fats which make many poor and lower middle class consumers die prematurely in many developing countries like India?

Petroleum Residues in Foods cause Epidemics

    Hexane petrol is used as a solvent for extracting more oil from oilseeds by many manufacturers of edible oils. Hexane is one of the main petroleum contaminants that is ingested as a residue in such cooking oils which we use for preparing different foods. Paraffin or petrolatum is another petroleum product very widely used in western countries as a protective coating for fruits and vegetables, as an anti-foaming agent in beet-sugar refining, as a release agent in bakery products, in chewing gum base, for sealing the packs of food products and beverages, in cosmetics and, in liquid form, as a laxative. Some manufacturers of table salt use paraffin wax in the proportion of about 0.5 per cent as an anti-caking agent to make the salt free flowing. Paraffin is known for causing cancer.  

   Low-level, prolonged poisoning with hexane, paraffin and other petroleum products can cause chronic diarrhea in the affected persons. Chronic diarrhea causes massive losses of fat-soluble vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin K and many other nutrients. By causing deficiencies of these nutrients, the residues of petroleum contaminants in foods can damage the mucous membranes of the gastro-intestinal tract and kidneys, causing inflammation and chronic pain in many parts of the abdomen. The affected persons can get ulcers, skin problems like dandruff, dermatitis due to damage to the skin, and later even cancers of the mucous membranes and the skin. There can be rapid loss of weight in spite of adequate intake of food, fall in blood pressure, arrhythmic heartbeats and heart disease associated with low blood pressure. Many patients can also suffer from weak eyesight and insomnia. The deficiency of vitamin K causes hemophilia in many persons.

   The daily ingestion of petroleum-contaminated foods and drinks can produce an extremely lethargic condition and chronic fatigue, rapid premature ageing, even AIDS and early death. Consumed regularly, knowingly or unknowingly, paraffin is one of the major causes of AIDS in USA and other western countries.

    Chronic diarrhea and the loss of fat-soluble vitamin A, vitamin E and vitamin K cause a severe deficiency of mucus in the body. Once there is a deficiency of mucus, all the mucous membranes, including those of the respiratory organs, are adversely affected and become allergic to many substances and chemicals, including some nutrients, and even the oxygen of inhaled air. So, the ingestion of petroleum-contaminated foods can cause respiratory problems like coughs, colds, bronchitis, leading even to the depressed-breathing asthma, pneumonia, tuberculosis and AIDS.

    Why do many truck drivers get AIDS? One of the most important causes of AIDS in truck drivers is the regular inhalation of vapors from the unburned diesel and petrol and also the smoke from the burnt petroleum products. The regular inhalation of smoke and unburned vapors of petroleum products can cause allergic coughs, colds, bronchitis, asthma and other respiratory diseases in the drivers of vehicles, petrol pump attendants and garage workers.

    By causing the losses of large quantities of fat-soluble vitamin A, vitamin E and vitamin K, as a result of chronic diarrhea, the residues of petroleum products in contaminated foods and drinks can also cause the faster breakdown of many organic biochemicals, including the hormones like insulin, in the body. 

    Consumed regularly, the petroleum-contaminated foods and drinks cause insulin-deficiency diabetes (IDD) by drastically reducing the formation of insulin and also by rapidly destroying insulin in the body. 

    Petroleum-contaminated foods, containing residues of hexane and paraffin, can cause severe demineralization  of the bones and teeth. There can be constant pain in the bones and teeth due to the deficiencies of calcium and fat-soluble vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin E and vitamin K. The severe decalcification of bones can lead to arthritis and fractures, and the tooth decay can cause cavities and loss of teeth. As an affected person gets aches and pains in various parts of the body, he suffers from an inability to sit, stand or sleep in one position for long. The pain in the bones can also involve the spinal column.

    One of the main reasons for the millions of people in the world to get chronic backaches is  the ingestion of foods and drinks contaminated with residues of petroleum products. The residues of petroleum products can be found in oils and fats, sugar, bakery products and many other processed foods of mass consumption. Millions of people can easily get chronic back pain in the modern age due to the consumption of such petroleum-contaminated foods and drinks over a period of time.

    There should be a complete ban on the use of hexane petrol in the extraction of edible oil from oilseeds. Paraffin should also not be used in any form in or on food products. Petrolatum or paraffin should not be used to clarify sugar. Paraffin wax should not be used to coat fruits and vegetables. It is better to use glycerin and its products, or suitable edible oils, instead of paraffin in ointments and creams. As far as possible, we should avoid all foods and drinks that are most likely to be contaminated especially with petroleum products like hexane and paraffin.  

LPG is not clean as it is not Oxygen

    Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) consists of butane, isobutane, propane, propylene, butylenes and other gases. The impure LPG can also contain other harmful chemical additives and contaminants. Natural gas consists mainly of methane with some amounts of  ethane, propane, butane and nitrogen. A warning odor is added to the domestic cooking fuel as a safety measure for precaution.

    Due to their designs, gas furnaces function in such a way that a little quantity of unburned gas is bound to leak out, thus polluting the air in the kitchens. Cheap low-quality LPG containing some toxic gas is passed on to consumers with a claim that the irritating smell of the gas is due to a safe additive which is an indicator to warn about any leakage of gas.

    The substandard LPG with the irritating smell is a very sickening substance which can easily trigger headaches, coughs and colds in the millions of housewives and other cooks who work in the kitchens. Even some forms of asthma and heart problems may be caused by the regular inhalation of harmful vapors of impure LPG contaminated with the harmful chemical additives,

    The cheap, impure and toxic LPG is sold in many places in India. Politicians permit the sale of poisonous products that cause epidemics of asthma, AIDS and other diseases in millions of consumers, and later they make pretences of protecting them. Health officials then wonder where the diseases like asthma and AIDS come from. They then get costly toxic drugs administered even when such drugs don't cure, as the causes are not removed. Again, huge amounts of money are made from the sale of costly drugs.

Has Vitamin M silenced Pesticides-in-Cola controversy?

    Will PepsiCo and Coca Cola company dare to export their pesticides-containing products bottled in India to Europe and USA to make the Europeans and Americans drink their poisoned soft drinks? If they dared to do that, the Europeans and Americans would definitely make the two companies completely bankrupt in a short period by filing millions of lawsuits against them to obtain massive damages amounting to trillions of dollars through courts.

    Have the massive doses of Vitamin M (Money) given to corrupt politicians and bureaucrats silenced the Pesticides-in-Cola controversy in India?  Why is the issue of pesticides in Indian foods, drinks and water now being almost completely  ignored? Has vitamin M buried the Pesticides-in-Cola issue deep in the Earth in India? It is clear that the massive amounts of money are being paid regularly to the extremely corrupt politicians and bureaucrats of our country by the adulterators. 

    Vitamin M has been successfully used to hush up facts about the Pesticides-in-Cola drinks in India. Due to the extreme corruption in the bureaucracy, the Food Inspectors and other bureaucrats in India, who all want and get a lot of vitamin M, are well-known for hushing up most of the cases involving adulteration and contamination of foods and drinks. Lakshmi, the Goddess of Money & Wealth, is worshipped the most by Indians in spite of all the extreme hypocrisy about our beliefs in human and  spiritual values. The loud political noise made by our hypocritical and extremely selfish leaders was only meant to extract a lot of Vitamin M from the multinational companies (MNCs), and so billions of bottles of the pesticides-laden cola drinks continue to be sold throughout India.

    The political ideology of our leaders based on unabashed and open worship of money will definitely lead us all collectively to mass suicide. Our leaders, from different fields, have made India the Largest Hell on Earth. Even our patriotism and secularism are extremely toxic, as they are full of hatred for the persons of other castes and contempt for the common people.


    Even though I am more than 62 years old, I have hardly consumed 50 bottles (of about 200 ml each) of cola drinks of all types in my whole life. All my friends and relatives have laughed at my apparent foolishness in avoiding the world's most favored chilled drink / beverage. I remember that, since my adolescence, my nervous system has been so hypersensitive to the chemicals in cola drinks that even the consumption of one bottle of the cola drink / beverage on any day has made me uneasy and sleepless in the night.
